All rejections are the same I can't put one over another one the moment it happened I walk away my face beat red and I'm talking to myself saying fuck fuck fuck
I carry on for about an hour And then I realize Why Embarrassed Because that's while it entails really
There's a good reason there's a real reason so quit making it up in my head and Let It Go one day you will find out the answer and in many cases I have but rejections rejection
And you have to stop and think about it the people that you have rejected it wasn't anything bad probably I know for me it wasn't it's just because I wasn't into that person and that's it it's not a big deal it just wasn't meant to be that's all and that's okay if it's that way00 Reply

1 moI've never really had an over the top asshole reaction any woman. Most have been very nice and diplomatic in their efforts to tell me "No chance buddy, take a hike". 🤣 I can't really ask for more than a polite, no thank you.
Maybe the "worst response" I've ever experienced is when a woman is visibly panicked. Like the deer in the headlights response. Freezes up. Visibly rattled. Doesn't know how to respond. I've always considered those responses to be the problem of that particular individual. And I'm actually grateful that she showed me her social dysfunction up front. I'm looking for the exit myself at that point and will defuse the situation quickly before I walk away as fast as my feet will carry me to safety.

583 opinions shared on Dating topic. So, this was back in high school. I had a huge crush on a popular boy in my grade (we were juniors). He was always nice to me the whole time I had a crush on him (eight months). Long story short, not only did he not like me, he would make fun of me to his friends behind my back. It was an embarrassing disaster.

3.9K opinions shared on Dating topic. i don't think i've ever had to ask a guy out.
but there's a fellow i've tried to reconcile with and I'll ask him to sit for a convo that he keeps hedging, though it's clear to everyone that he's crazy about me. He is apparently always talking about me. (who knows what's going on there.)00 Reply

1 moThe worst rejection I got was from a young lady in college who I had no intention of asking out. I thought she and i were friends (lived in the same dorm), and I guess she felt the need to reject me before I got to the point of asking her out. She was mean and pointed out to me things that she didn't like about me. It's like, where did all of this come from? I ran into her a year and a half later and she was nice to me and had an apologetic tone to what she was saying. Maybe she was going through something "mental" at the time in her life that she was toxic?

1 moAs for my success rate it has always been higher than my rejection rate & when it comes to rejection it hasn’t happen a lot in my life. As for me when someone catches my attention, they catch my attention & in life I always say if you never try you will never know & as for me I rather try & fail rather than not try at all.
As for rejection I look at it in a different way. I look at rejection like the person is doing me a favor & subconsciously they know they aren’t good enough for me.
A married woman asked me out recently & I did decline the offer, I don’t roll that way.

1 moSaid yes, made fun of me behind my back long enough for it to turn into a whole thing then used someone else to tell me they were too embarrassed to say no to my face... Even though she had my number.
Was kind of a bummer. But I figured maybe she was insecure that we were in middle school and the girl I was friends with had gigantic tits. Looking back maybe she knew that girl was into me. 😬That's the girl I saw years later in the dirty wife beater with the lizard on her shoulder if anyone saw me tell that story before 😂
00 Reply 8.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. Where I went to school there was a girl that I met that I really liked. After I worked up the courage I finally asked her out. It happened to be spring weekend and she told me that she would be around for the whole weekend. I saw this as a good sign. However I tried to find her on campus and had no luck. It was Saturday night and I was driving to a nearby club with a couple of friends. There were a couple of kids hitchhiking that we picked up. They were not students but one was the cousin of the girl I was looking for and he was meeting her at the club we were going to. I figured she would be glad that I brought her cousin. Instead she totally blew me off.

1 moThis was a person I worked with when i was like 21 or so. We had all gotten the phone numbers of our coworkers. I was friends with this girl there but starting to like. I wrote her a letter basically confessing my for her and I hadn’t received a response yet. Maybe like two days after i was at a concert and drinking a bit when i suddenly had the bright idea of texting her. So all i said was ‘hey its me [insert name here] how are you? ‘ and she replies back with ‘erase my number! I don’t want you to have it!’
yeahhh that one hurt. Then i had to go into work with her for another year lol. Was awkward af. She got with another dude and eventually we became friends again….
but that still sticks out for me. I guess this wasn’t an asking out.. well the letter was but still a rejection, a very harsh one.

1 moAfter over a year of admiring her, I finally dared to speak.
She thought that I make fun of her.
It's now 44 years later, and I still think that I'd have been a perfect partner/husband to her.
