Do women actually care what men read and in what format?

I've been getting into reading literature for pleasure. I hear the ladies love a man who reads, and while that isn't my motivation, it is an added bonus. What I'm curious about is if it matters how and what a man reads to a woman.

What I mean by how a man reads is nothing more than the format of which he reads. I am a technologically oriented individual and as such, I prefer to read ebooks as opposed to print books. Would reading on a tablet be seen as not as attractive or perhaps unattractive?

As for what a man reads, it's just that: the subject matter of the book. I am a fan of science fiction, so I have books such as Dune, Ender's Game, and Neuromancer on my reading list. Would choices like those be seen as unappealing compared to other books or even genres of literature? In other words, would I better impress the ladies if I pick something else to read?

Again, my motivation for reading is for pleasure, not to impress women. I'd just like to know if either of these factors matter to a lady.
