If a guy wants to kiss me on the first date, am I just a short-term thing?

First date off of a dating app and immediately wants to kiss me. Is it because the man finds me attractive or thinks of me as a short-term relationship?

He's either inexperienced or he's transactional. Either way it's annoying. So he's either not ready for a relationship, or is just bad news. It doesn't have anything to do with your attractiveness. If he's attracted he should be willing to wait a bit until you are ready.

After I divorced and started dating, I never asked a date for a kiss. When she was ready to be kissed she made it obvious and easy by getting close so all I had to do was tilt my head.

As a virgin with 0 experience I would only kiss a girl on 1st date for a few reasons. 1) We like each other well b4 1st date and so i kiss because were well acquainted. 2) We either recently met or just then at the date and I think you're very pretty and want to kiss you. Or 3) The dates going well and im looking to continue the date back home.

You won't know until a few more dates in. Kissing on the first date is nothing uncommon.

A kiss has NOTHING to do with that. Most guys are looking for a kiss on the first date. Even if it's just a peck. Something that says she APPROVED of the date. Now does that mean some guys aren't out just to get some "play". No. Of course there are some of those guys. That's YOUR job to discern HIS motives. One thing I can tell you for certain. Whether you kiss a guy or not is entirely up to you. No decent man EXPECTS a kiss.
