It is someone from here, we have been talking for a while. We connected a lot. He asked to move to social media. We added each other. It is the first time we are able to see each other's pics and all. I messaged him on social media and I never got a response... right now is officially over a day. He never opened it.

He is not typically my type, but he is still decent and kind of cute. I was still open to seeing where it goes because I thought we connected well. But maybe he does not feel the same way? Is one day good enough to say he does not find me attractive because he never opened the message?

That is of course a possibility just how there can be other reasons as well, maybe he saw something in your profile he didn't like, perhaps a lot of pictures with other guys, party pictures with a lot of alcohol, now I'm only naming a few things some men including myself would make a woman look less attractive that isn't appearance related, drugs as well, if not then it was most likely your appearance, there's also a possibility it could've been something else I can't think of.

Yeah I don’t do that lol. I know I’m pretty. I peeked at his following list. I am prettier than some of the girls he’s following. So i felt confuse. And it just hit me that oh… maybe it’s just my body size he don’t like bc the girls he follows seems to be thinner or somewhat more in shape. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it is fair, but it is disappointing for sure. I know I want someone who likes me for the way I look, so it’s okay at the same time.

Yeah it’s fine. He wasn’t really my type either but I was being open bc he sounded like a quality man who I connected well with. That’s the main disappointment tbh. It’s just hard to find that these days you know?

Yea it is, something I have learned is that quality is hard to find and even harder on here, probably not the best place to find quality people on a site where people are always down each other's throats with garbage, but you'll find someone of quality at some point, I like to believe things happen for a reason, even things we consider bad, for all we know it can be a blessing in disguise.

I think when you know your worth and you’re still a catch even when things don’t work out really helps. I know it’s not hard for me to find someone new, but I think like I said it’s just harder to find quality people to be connected with. Personally I have chosen to find peace in solitude and I'm not too bothered what others think of me, I'm no saying to fall into solitude but remaining uneffected by others opinions sounds like a good thing, it's probably disappointing but when you find quality elsewhere you'll be happy for this, that if you even remember to look back at this lol

With a deep breath, did he hint he might be busy?

Recall the conversation. Was the conversation changing leading up to his disappearence

Check in on text again. He might not have seen it, or your message is in a different mailbox. Send him a message to let him know to look.

You're not chancing him, you're putting the ball back in his court.

Once you get a hold of you're elusive date, don't shy away from the problem. This is the time to clearly set a soft expectation

"text you at 3:00 tomorrow"

This let's him know when you're expecting him to be there and doesn't come across as pushy as "cut to the chase"
