No, there's nothing wrong with it. What is the official waiting period we're all obligated to adhere to?
Its okay, live your life as you want.

Some become so depressed after the death of a spouse that they die within months or within 2 years, and if he is emotionally unable to cope with the death of his wife he should be allowed to self-heal in any way he wants, whether that means seeing a psychologist, taking psychiatric drugs, or getting married to a new wife, not everybody has friends and family that are close enough and loyal enough to help you cope with the death of a beloved family member.
There is no simple rule for such situations. My brother remarried 7 weeks after his first wife died from a protracted fight with kidney failure. I think he is a jerk of the most exalted order.
A long illness makes it worse , so we know he was planning for a long time , so not emotionally faithful , 16 months ( after a LONG marriage ) is simply far too soon..
You need to actually on your own for a decent period , he has shown he was a complete pussy bcoz he had to have a woman the entire time , pretty weak., that's where looser comes from.
This happened to a couple I knew , great guy - he died after a 4 year battle with brain cancer , she never looked so good , until he was sick , all of a sudden.. Wow ! Married 12 months after death , works both ways.. shameful frankly.
Just keep private , be alone , grieve , and out of respect WAIT !
Something similar happened with my mother...
My father died in March 2003.
However, his widow, my mother became an official couple - not exactly married, but living as man and wife including with some contractual obligations - with a man who was a widower. It is a marriage without being married; they don't want to be married because they lose "survivor benefits". I consider him my step-father even though he's only 15y 3m older than me.
They just celebrated 20 years together last month, so they became a couple in July 2006; I know by the fall, they were living together if not before that. However, HIS late wife died in September 2005, so 10 months earlier before he became a couple with my mother.
I am fine with it. I am a little surpised at how quickly he moved on. (His wife died very quickly - less than a month between diagnosis and death.) Then again, my mother was a piece of ass and his late wife wasn't. So, from that perspective, I can understand.
Damn right I do. Women rarely do this, but men do it all the time.
Who is the loser, I wonder :D
The ones that feel the need to comment on each and everything that's not their business, perhaps?
It is a little close, but that is his business. It would be different if it was like 6 months. Also, his wife may have wished for him to find someone else.
Trump cHeated on his first wife with his second and his second with his third and his third while pregnant with a porn star…I think his opinion on marriage is laughable no matter what he says lol
Trumpy is the looser!!! No there is nothing wrong with it as long as both people love each other.
Thomas Massie is a HERO in my book. But anyway, there is no limit in the amount of time that has to go by before you remarry. Especially if your 1st spouse has passed away
Why wait 16 months?
Not at all, particularly after a long illness.
Most people do after a year.
Yes, very disrespectful. It’s way too soon.
Yes there is
