Girls, why did she suddenly start ignoring my messages instead of just saying no?

I met on girl outside and took her contact. I chatted with her for hours. she's leaving to another country but I told her Ilets meet and she told shell let me know. I said if we're not meeting just say it. I don't mind it at all. instead sh decided to not view my messages she didn't block me though. why can't u just write I'm looking for something different than ignore. I dont find that offensive at all.

Why just open this question to women only? I am sure that men can also answer. This is not a thing just women do but a lot of men also give the silent treatment when they don't feel like answering.

She probably felt being pressured by you to give an answer. She probably felt uncomfortable doing so. She did not block you because she did not have the need to do it. She was not angry or upset but simply did not feel like giving an answer. That avoids having to justify the decision and that is something that people do.

I presume that you wanted to have something with that woman andd i its seems like a one-way thing that was not reciprocated.

I think this may be a case of once you talked to her for a while, she may have decided that you are not her type. Couple that with her leaving for another country, she decided it was not worth keeping up correspondence.

The thing is that long distance relationships rarely are a good idea. All I read is how poorly they turn out and how hard they are to maintain. Pile on people having the tendency to be insecure, it is not a good idea. Maybe that is what she realized.

People avoid saying “no” when they’re uncomfortable about the situation. You obviously said something that put her on edge.
