Is he genuinely busy or losing interest after a first date?

I wrote a big thank you after our first date since he treated me to lunch, helping look and fixed some of my car worries, and we spend 4-5 together strolling around sight seeing. He seemed excited when he got home too.

But the next day he took long gaps to respond.. he did had a consistent story of catching up with chores on his Sunday. He still remained warm and flirty.

And the next day, today, he usually message me at morning but didn’t until noon apologizing he rushed to work… he’s still sweet.

No mentioned second date but lots of future plans ideas during date and post date today.

But the small shifts is making me anxious if he’s actually not that into me…

You need to detach. You met this person once. You’re too focused on the future. Just wait it out. It’s ok to not respond super fast. He has a life too.

it might be they way he is. Not too reliant on texts and instant communication. Give it a little more time.
