This guy I met asked for my number, and I gave it to him. He texts me a lot and wants to call me frequently. I’ve told him that I can’t always talk because I have to work. At my job, we aren’t allowed to bring our phones inside. If we do, we could get fired. Only managers and office workers are allowed to bring their phones in.

Sometimes, I work 13–15 hours in one day, and I end up feeling extremely tired afterward. On my days off, I need to rest and recover, sometimes for three days straight. Even when I tell him I’m trying to rest because my body feels weak and I’m very sleepy, he keeps texting me. He acts like he doesn’t understand and continues to say things like, “I think you don’t want to talk to me.” I keep telling him that I’ll talk to him when I feel better, but he doesn’t seem to understand that I genuinely need time to rest.

He just is not getting it. You need rest!!! I'm sure he wants to date or hookup with you perhaps. How well do you know him? I would tell him one more time and be firm about it. If he does not understand your needs... block him
