What's so romantic about kissing in the rain?

Call me stupid and unromantic but what's so romantic about kissing in the rain besides it being on the cover of that one chick flick?

I've had an actual in the moment romantic rain kiss. I was outside, I can't remember the situation, but I was upset...and he came out and held me. At some point we kissed, and the emotions mixed with the rain made it beautiful and the cool water raining over us. And this was before that movie was out. So...

I love the feel of water raining on my mouth while I kiss, shower kisses are just as good. I don't know why. It just feels nice.

Its the romantic notion of being so caught up in each other they are oblivious to everything else. Don't know how long that oblivion would last in rain coming from every angle accompanied by an Atlantic wind.

I love rain, and I love kissing...granted, THE NOTEBOOK made me want to puke, but the ending of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S is where you can really see how beautiful kissing in the rain is.

Rain is amazing and I love singing and dancing and generally having fun in the rain. Kissing in the rain would be a mix of the good feelings of both kissing and rain in one.
