I have heard that men lie about their height while women lie about their age. I dont know if this is true.

I just started talking to this guy a few weeks ago and our first date was so good, we made another one that night. All our plans were stopped though because he got Covid the day before our date. We’re relying on texting and possibly FaceTiming, but it’s been one day and I already feel like I’m annoying him because I’m just not a good texter (bad at keeping conversation going, try to keep it lighthearted and make a lot of jokes but he likes deeper talks, etc.). I don’t want to keep bombarding him and asking how he’s doing so I wasn’t going to text everyday, just every so often (every other day), but does that come off like I don’t care?

I was gonna post a picture of how I currently look but I’m a little emotionally sensitive right now because I just had a break up. So, girls supposedly get a new look when a breakup has occurred. I did just that. I shaved my head. I’m not bald but it’s barely a centimeter long. Kinda like Sinéad O’ Conner or Halsey I guess. I didn’t have long hair more like a bob haircut but when my boyfriend dumped me, I was obviously devastated and saw a picture of Halsey and on impulse grabbed the clippers on level 4 and shaved my head. I think I look more like me than ever but told I’ll never get a boyfriend now. I’ve bitched and moaned about being single for 4 years and I get in a relationship that lasted for a month and now I don’t want another relationship for another 4 years. So, I’m not worried about finding another boyfriend so soon. And I’m not gonna keep the shaved head, I do plan to grow it back out.
I personally like my new look.

I was curious about how dating has changed during the pandemic. With people wearing masks during the last year or two, do you rely a bit more on gauging someone's personality than you had in the past. It was easier before to just see someone across the street and be attracted to them by their facial features. Do you find that now it requires a bit more effort on your end to see if you are interested?

My boyfriend works with this girl and she randomly sent him this picture while we were together asking for his opinion. This isn’t the first time one of these girls does this. I already have experience with them. I told her off because I was so pissed off. She knows he’s taken because she follows both of us on Instagram. Why are they like this? Not all of them but MOST of them are.
Before you call me a Karen or whatever, just know my boyfriend is very handsome and has dark blonde hair so I have to be a little concerned whenever a girl does something like this. Don’t you agree with me this is inappropriate and unacceptable?

Don't get me wrong both of their perspectives offer great insight on what it takes for a man start dating the woman that he wants. But I can't help but feel that one is just slightly more insightful than the other.

My boyfriend (of 8 years) keeps the fan on every night and I’ve never complained. However, lately I’ve gotten tired of freezing every fall/winter. I have a disease that prevents me from regulating my body temperature, so I am especially sensitive to cold. There is an air conditioner on his side of the bed he could run the fan on without bothering me, but he won’t. He also insists that we sleep on top of the sheets/comforter with a single mexican blanket covering us.

I just turned off the ceiling fan and now he’s legitimately angry. He claims there’s no air circulating, even though I cracked the window. I mentioned the air conditioning fan option and he’s still mad. Every time I try to talk about anything, he tries to start a fight about the fan. I honestly think it’s ridiculous to run it when freezing outside anyways. He even complained all through the night about being cold himself. It seems like he just doesn’t want to take my comfort into consideration at all. Am I being ridiculous? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I haven’t accepted or went on a date since 2017. I’m sure things have changed since then. Any tips, any changes in the dating game, things to look out for? Overall what is dating like in 2021?
