They are probably more so disappointed in the women for wanting those things in a man over everything else... But sure, if they want something, they should work towards it. At the end of the day when they achieve those goals, they will still question the women's motivations. Obviously they didn't like him before those financial goals were obtained, but if they do after he'll probably start treating women like cell phones... That is purchasable objects that are disposable within a year.
Like it or loathe it, there are more and more men who are dropping out of 'courtship', marriage, etc. Shaming them isn't going to work. In fact, nothing, short of abolishing state feminism and becoming radically apologetic en masse, is going to work, but even then it may be too late.
Wow, I concur. One must take initiative to get their shit straight. As for putting yourself in the middle - don't overdo it, though. Show confidence, not arrogance/ignorance.
What one considers a metric for being succesful e. g having a partner, a job, hobbies, is up to them.
Complaining about hardships is kinda natural, so we can skip that part, the point is: there's no such thing as magic. Things don't suddenly fix themselves.
I can never understand people that complain and do nothing about it. What do they expect to accomplish sitting in front of the computer all day? If you don't like your life, change it. It's not easy, but it's worth it.
Can someone come up with a similar take about how women should get over the imaginary gender pay gap and glass ceiling and ask themselves honestly why they dont make as much money as men if that be the case.

I may consider writing that myTake. But first, I need to gather some sources to confirm the notion that the gender pay gap and glass ceiling are illusory.
Who the fuck do you think you are telling any guy here how they should live their lives? You have no right calling any guy a loser. If I was born with a pussy I too would have it easy and don't say its not true. Its easy to accuse the opposite sex of being a loser when your the sex that can just sit there and wait for things to come/happen. Must be real nice having been born a women. This take really pissed me off.
@WhatupJK23 thats NONE of ur business. And i could have given u a long detailed essay on how being a girl in India is tough, in almost every aspect. but with u i cudnt be bothered less.
I like this. This is a really solid MyTake, some people need a push. And I like how you said everything in simple, easy-to-follow terms AND how you said he and she. Everyone can use a stern pep talk.

I can feel very good to vent and I'm doing a lot to work on my problems I'd say the extra work I put in takes me up to 60 - 70 hour weeks. It also feels good to be pessimistic especially when you may not in public besides women bitch just as much, they just do a lot of it in public where it's harder to ignore it if you want to. Expect the and moan about the worst and prepare to be the best.
I agree, if guys or girls would put just as much effort in finding someone as opposed to ranting negative crap about the opposite sex all the time, they would likely have someone and be quite happy.
I do agree some don't need to complain. I think if they come to GaG, they should be coming to better themselves from guys who have done so. I like to teach guys how to be a better man so that they can get there faster than I did.

How did men in the past go from being so determined and courageous from builders of our world to couch potatoes in these modern times? Maybe ask yourself that question.
Why did men change all of a sudden, or was it women that changed.

Whats happening is women realized that feminist propaganda destroyed our real men. No we see more posts from women because unfortunately dating sucks for them and can't find any decent men anymore. So now a slight change in attitude where women are realizing men need help too but its too late. Most women are destined to work and will be single living life like a robot without love
@anonymous feminism didn't kill it, we men let it happened. We were too lazy and too weak to defend so we're like "ahhh screw it, if they want to protest against us, let them be, who cares about them anyways". So yeah, feminism had
@HelloEveryone123456 No, they're not "loud" or "bitchy" if you don't let them. We men nowadays are so passive and lazy, we don't give 2 shits if a woman tries to dominate us. As for the primitive societies, they can't afford computers, they can't afford laptops and they can't even afford electricity, which cuts porn out of those men's lives and it made them more dominant.
"Men work hard because there is an incentive to do so. Men take risks because there is an incentive to do so. When the reward is removed, the work and the risk-taking will also disappear. That's how it always has been, and how it always will be.
The traditional female gender role is all but dead. The male gender role is not. Women usually still expect to be courted, to be provided for, to be led, and so forth. However, they also expect the benefits of the hookup culture. The combination of these two leads to unreasonable, and in some instances impossible, expectations of men."
No, men are still men, but what society expects of us has changed. Those men of old you so venerate would horrify you if they told you their beliefs. These are the men who killed farm animals for dinner and believed that women belonged in the kitchen. They're also the men who believed that black people belonged on their side of town, but times have changed.
Society is much more complicated now. Women are no longer only our potential mates but also our competitors in school and the workplace. That's very different than how things were in the past. Men and women used to need each other, now we're more likely to view each other as users.
Bottom line, comparing men today with those of the past is an apples to oranges deal, just as is comparing contemporary women with those of 50 years ago. As many men have said, women aren't what y'all used to be, either, so things have changed across the board for everyone.
Men have good reason to complain. Thanks to women and feminism the family unit has been destroyed and finding a good woman these days is almost impossible.
A good woman is faithful and has a strong belief in love and commitment, a woman who also thinks it's wrong to be sexist against men and acknowledges that feminism is bad for relationships.
Feminists are not sexist against men. That's misandry. Feminism seeks equality between men and women. So, yeah, maybe the most traditional family unit has been destroyed, but that's because the most traditional family unit was sexist: men work and earn money, women stay home to cook and clean and take care of the children.
@JerichoStorm I would argue that setup isn't sexist, but that the inflexibility in the system was (and largely still is). If a woman wanted to be the provider and the man stay at home to tend the household, it would have been very difficult. She wouldn't have been able to earn enough and he would face severe social stigma for doing so.
@AssJacket The earnings part is still true, and the severe social stigma has diminished, but it's still there, hence, for example, why companies won't hire women that have kids and society en general makes fun of men who stay at home. but you're right, the setup isn't necessarily sexist by itself.
@JerichoStorm Feminsim isn't about equality, it's about getting special rights for women and hating men. You only have to look at and listen to what modern day feminists say about men and it is nothing bit sheer sexism and hatred. If you believe in equality then you're an equalist, not a feminist. The traditional family unit wasn't sexist. It worked very well and kept families together. Feminism and the family court and divorce laws are mostly responsible for this. Well done feminists.
It doesn't sound to me like you've been listening to any feminists at all. A few years ago, I met Gloria Steinem, after a talk she gave at my university, and what you said is definitely not the message she was putting out there.
@AssJacket Well it sounds to me like you have just cherry picked a tiny minority of feminists, but if you pay attention you will find a lot of hatred towards men from feminists. And besides, since feminism became pervasive in society, marriage and family has declined. That isn't a coincidence.
I dunno, most of the women I know consider themselves feminists, and a lot of them are the San Francisco dwelling ultra Liberal types. They just don't think like you say they do.
Oh great yet another woman online telling men what they should be, and how they should feel and how they should act. You have no right commenting on something that you have no real idea about.
Most girls on GAG have no idea whatsoever. It can take years to just get a job and move out from your parents: you've got to have accomodation sorted, you can't just get any old job otherwise you won't be able to pay for it, it's probable you're going to have to get room mates (and they aren't going to be too happy about you banging chicks in the room next door either). There's all kinds of variables and people like this are just clueless.
I'm more wary of the guys (And girls) that shamelessly self-aggrandize on the internet and in real life. Those mofos have real issues. But very well written mytake, Even if i don't agree with all of it :)

No dude. U r wrong.
by the way We all think the other sex has it easy but thats not true.
Buddy, she's lying to you to make yourself feel better @IndianGirl01 How many partners have you had?
Exactly!
@WhatupJK23 thats NONE of ur business.
And i could have given u a long detailed essay on how being a girl in India is tough, in almost every aspect. but with u i cudnt be bothered less.
@IndianGirl01 lol, you're indian and i'm not going to even bother, if you were white, different story.
@WhatupJK23 lol. Good for u. 😂 U would nt have been able to handle an indian girl anyways. Let it go. 😂
Lol the pot calling the kettle black
You tell people ranting online is not going to help them yet you make a post ranting yourself
Hahaha I know right?

We actively discouraged boys from being raised in the way they were in the past
Because of television... And laziness of new technology...
And they weren't needed or taught to do what they used to...
Now, it's even worse than "couch potato," it's Internet potato...
@anonymous feminism didn't kill it, we men let it happened. We were too lazy and too weak to defend so we're like "ahhh screw it, if they want to protest against us, let them be, who cares about them anyways". So yeah, feminism had
@WhatupJK23 because they're so loud and bitchy, it's not even worth talking to them...
Did you know in primitive societies, women were beaten every day?
@HelloEveryone123456 No, they're not "loud" or "bitchy" if you don't let them. We men nowadays are so passive and lazy, we don't give 2 shits if a woman tries to dominate us. As for the primitive societies, they can't afford computers, they can't afford laptops and they can't even afford electricity, which cuts porn out of those men's lives and it made them more dominant.
@WhatupJK23 I don't let a woman dominate me... I used to fight, now I just ignore them if I don't want to talk to them...
This was a response to men giving up on women:
"Men work hard because there is an incentive to do so. Men take risks because there is an incentive to do so. When the reward is removed, the work and the risk-taking will also disappear. That's how it always has been, and how it always will be.

@BubbleBoy69 or maybe they're just a bunch of whores
@HelloEveryone123456 Would you fight a woman?
@WhatupJK23 yea if I wouldn't go to jail... Is that bad? Especially if she hit me first.
@HelloEveryone123456 lol not at all, good for you then.
@WhatupJK23 if it were legal, I think a lot of guys would...
@HelloEveryone123456 Well, there's alleys, rivers, lakes, forest, middle of nowhere. Pick your spot.
@WhatupJK23 you would get caught
We are still "determined and courageous" but that's not good enough for women anymore.
Because of the glorification of feminine traits and the demonization of male traits.
No, men are still men, but what society expects of us has changed. Those men of old you so venerate would horrify you if they told you their beliefs. @AssJacket Well I have seen a completely different side to feminism and it's nothing like you're describing.
Oh great yet another woman online telling men what they should be, and how they should feel and how they should act. You have no right commenting on something that you have no real idea about.
Pretty much agree with @the_rake (s) opinion, he's right on the money.
Thanks.

But very well written mytake, Even if i don't agree with all of it :)
Looks like someone needs some moccasins and some exercise.
Funny, in a way I basically got 3 girlfriends by just complaining, lolz. Never had one until I did.
Good mytake :) But life has been so unfair to me!! no jk :P
the thing is that is relatively speaking sometimes difficult for men to find help because often you are told to 'man up' and thats it, no help.
