Not sure why you wrote this as anon... you deserve recognition!
I do wonder why so many people sit there and play themselves the world's smallest violin. There's something that grinds my gears about people who will complain about things that ARE in their own power to fix, but they'd rather rant instead of doing something about it. Even something like getting into shape (which helps in almost every other aspect of life) can be done if you sit on an excercise bike WHILE at the computer.
They are probably more so disappointed in the women for wanting those things in a man over everything else... But sure, if they want something, they should work towards it. At the end of the day when they achieve those goals, they will still question the women's motivations. Obviously they didn't like him before those financial goals were obtained, but if they do after he'll probably start treating women like cell phones... That is purchasable objects that are disposable within a year.
Wow, I concur. One must take initiative to get their shit straight. As for putting yourself in the middle - don't overdo it, though. Show confidence, not arrogance/ignorance.
What one considers a metric for being succesful e. g having a partner, a job, hobbies, is up to them.
Complaining about hardships is kinda natural, so we can skip that part, the point is: there's no such thing as magic. Things don't suddenly fix themselves.
I can never understand people that complain and do nothing about it. What do they expect to accomplish sitting in front of the computer all day?
If you don't like your life, change it. It's not easy, but it's worth it.

Who the fuck do you think you are telling any guy here how they should live their lives? You have no right calling any guy a loser. If I was born with a pussy I too would have it easy and don't say its not true. I like this. This is a really solid MyTake, some people need a push. And I like how you said everything in simple, easy-to-follow terms AND how you said he and she. Everyone can use a stern pep talk.
I can feel very good to vent and I'm doing a lot to work on my problems I'd say the extra work I put in takes me up to 60 - 70 hour weeks.
It also feels good to be pessimistic especially when you may not in public besides women bitch just as much, they just do a lot of it in public where it's harder to ignore it if you want to.
Expect the and moan about the worst and prepare to be the best.
I agree, if guys or girls would put just as much effort in finding someone as opposed to ranting negative crap about the opposite sex all the time, they would likely have someone and be quite happy.

Whats happening is women realized that feminist propaganda destroyed our real men. No we see more posts from women because unfortunately dating sucks for them and can't find any decent men anymore. We are still "determined and courageous" but that's not good enough for women anymore.
Because of the glorification of feminine traits and the demonization of male traits.
No, men are still men, but what society expects of us has changed. Those men of old you so venerate would horrify you if they told you their beliefs. These are the men who killed farm animals for dinner and believed that women belonged in the kitchen. They're also the men who believed that black people belonged on their side of town, but times have changed.
Society is much more complicated now. Women are no longer only our potential mates but also our competitors in school and the workplace. That's very different than how things were in the past. Men and women used to need each other, now we're more likely to view each other as users.
Bottom line, comparing men today with those of the past is an apples to oranges deal, just as is comparing contemporary women with those of 50 years ago. As many men have said, women aren't what y'all used to be, either, so things have changed across the board for everyone.
Men have good reason to complain. Thanks to women and feminism the family unit has been destroyed and finding a good woman these days is almost impossible.
What is a "good woman" to you?
A good woman is faithful and has a strong belief in love and commitment, a woman who also thinks it's wrong to be sexist against men and acknowledges that feminism is bad for relationships.
Feminists are not sexist against men. That's misandry. Feminism seeks equality between men and women. So, yeah, maybe the most traditional family unit has been destroyed, but that's because the most traditional family unit was sexist: men work and earn money, women stay home to cook and clean and take care of the children.
@JerichoStorm I would argue that setup isn't sexist, but that the inflexibility in the system was (and largely still is). If a woman wanted to be the provider and the man stay at home to tend the household, it would have been very difficult. She wouldn't have been able to earn enough and he would face severe social stigma for doing so.
@AssJacket The earnings part is still true, and the severe social stigma has diminished, but it's still there, hence, for example, why companies won't hire women that have kids and society en general makes fun of men who stay at home. but you're right, the setup isn't necessarily sexist by itself.
@JerichoStorm Feminsim isn't about equality, it's about getting special rights for women and hating men. You only have to look at and listen to what modern day feminists say about men and it is nothing bit sheer sexism and hatred. If you believe in equality then you're an equalist, not a feminist. The traditional family unit wasn't sexist. It worked very well and kept families together. Feminism and the family court and divorce laws are mostly responsible for this. Well done feminists.
It doesn't sound to me like you've been listening to any feminists at all. A few years ago, I met Gloria Steinem, after a talk she gave at my university, and what you said is definitely not the message she was putting out there.
@AssJacket Well it sounds to me like you have just cherry picked a tiny minority of feminists, but if you pay attention you will find a lot of hatred towards men from feminists. And besides, since feminism became pervasive in society, marriage and family has declined. That isn't a coincidence.
I dunno, most of the women I know consider themselves feminists, and a lot of them are the San Francisco dwelling ultra Liberal types. They just don't think like you say they do.

Most girls on GAG have no idea whatsoever. It can take years to just get a job and move out from your parents: you've got to have accomodation sorted, you can't just get any old job otherwise you won't be able to pay for it, it's probable you're going to have to get room mates (and they aren't going to be too happy about you banging chicks in the room next door either). There's all kinds of variables and people like this are just clueless.
