  you should learn what that word means.
  
  there are old theories that just looked at 2 values in a statistic and inferred social inequality. THOSE are anachronistic and stupid as hell to be frank.
  
  those theries for example the glass ceiling and gender pay gap one are univariate fallacies that have been proven just plain out wrong ages ago... you learn that in sociology 101, yet people still think they are timely.
  
  my take maks the contemporary knowledge of sociology and psychology so it is not anachronistic.
