So today I was being micromanaged at my job by my boss? What does that mean?

In business management, micromanagement is a management style whereby a manager closely observes and/or controls and/or reminds the work of their subordinates or employees. Micromanagement is generally considered to have a negative connotation, mainly because it shows a lack of freedom in the workplace.

maybe it means they don't trust you, maybe it means they have issues with control, maybe it means they were worried that You weren't experienced enough at a new task, maybe it means you've been fucking off lot And they have to try and get you doing more before they have to get rid of you.
Can I get a little more context?

My boss is a woman
Depends, maybe he's thinking you're not efficient enough or perhaps he's trying to come up with criteria for new employees?
Needs more details.
did I just micromanage your question
haha
I have a very mild csse of OCD, and sometimes the need to check things twice or thrice, and this sometimes comes out as "you just can't trust me", if I can do it quick enough, it's easier than to overthink over and over it for hours and maybe days later.
