I have known two public health nurses. Yes I'd say both are smart people. Not sure exactly what they did though.

And there are stupid and smart people everywhere, so i usually don't asume much based just on a profession.

They’re smart, to a degree. A lot of nurses think they know way more than they do though.

Well in the states teachers don’t get paid much but no one considers them dumb. Do with that what you will
