... said someone who's never worked a job where the federal government makes it legal to pay less than minimum wage because the *system* literally relies on those workers earning a fair wage through tips.
Well in Australia you just don't do it because things like that they usually include a delivery price and they should be already getting a fair enough wage.
Where does tipping end? I grew up it was 10% now it's 15%! If I want more money at work, I ask for a raise or get a better paying job. All those who expect a Tip go tell your employer to raise your wage or leave. Not my responsibility to pay extra.
let me guess: you're the same guy rambling right-wing talking points about why lazy kids/peeps don't want to work... and you also don't think you have an obligation to tip these workers because their employer should be doing it.
@nachosaresexy No. I'm the poor schmuck who's lucky to scape up $20 for a pizza. If I go and tip some guy $5 that brings my total to $25, and means I'm now short $5 which comes out of my food budget. So poor guy pays port schmuck and gets more poor. So, I guess I don't deserve to eat pizza just because some lazy ass doesn't have the balls to tell the boss tonup my wage.
1. pick up your precious $20 pizza on the way home from work / other normal outings
2. if do you make the poor choice to pay for delivery you apparently can't afford, and support pizza joint owner while stiffing his grunt level delivery boy, you're enabling the same system you seem to be complaining about
@nachosaresexy I'm just peeved this is allowed. We have changed so many things in just the last 20yrs , but we can't make a law to pay a living wage? America is the only place tipping still exists. And just who should I tip? Coffe? Sub sandwich? Barber? Uber? Paperboy? Mailman? Garbage guy? Mechanic? Gas station? Who! ? End of the day a guy on my wages wouldn't be able to pay all those extra wages. Do you begin to see what I'm saying? It shouldn't be on the peoples shoulders to supplement the wages. The government must in force a higher minimum wage. The rich must begin to pay their share.
I don't disagree with the abstract point that tipping in murrica is a weird & arbitrary thing.
But I disagree even more with people who play dumb and pretend they don't understand the rules when it comes to restaurant servers and delivery peeps - our special government makes it legal for employers to pay them less than the already pathetic minimum wage, so to further stiff those people under some BS *principle* is just a really lame move on a basic person-to-person level.
I don't know of any pizza place that includes it in the price. They may charge a delivery charge but that helps pay them to reimburse the driver for their gas.
"i didn't tip because I thought it was included in the bill"
I mean, you replied to a question about tipping pizza dudes driving their own cars to hand fat americans their pizza at their own door. From my perspective seems like a reach to pull out the "well if the tip is included in the bill..." card.
I tip in pakistan because its the culture here and they aren't paid so well. In the UK they're paid well ( at least the living wage) and its not a common thing there to tip.

@nachosaresexy actually i did but thanks for being nosy and all up in my business without having any clue what i have done with my life🤣
Well in Australia you just don't do it because things like that they usually include a delivery price and they should be already getting a fair enough wage.
I don't even like pizza and I give the driver a tip you know what is somebody does something for you you need to say thank you that's the way I see it

Amazing how this all works.

you're trying way too hard.
1. pick up your precious $20 pizza on the way home from work / other normal outings
2. if do you make the poor choice to pay for delivery you apparently can't afford, and support pizza joint owner while stiffing his grunt level delivery boy, you're enabling the same system you seem to be complaining about
be honest tho: you're not a right-wing guy asking why lazy people aren't willing to work low-paying jobs?
i hightly doubt that

I always tip $5 when I can afford it. Also means I don’t buy pizza as often.
There are cheap assho! es everywhere. I guess they need the money to buy weed.
broke assholes... they should go get their own food if they want to be that cheap/lazy
Yeah, it's like having pride in being an unabashedly shitty person
Should I still tip if the tip is actually already included in the price of the pizza and even if I would tip it wouldn't be accepted that easily?
I don't know of any pizza place that includes it in the price. They may charge a delivery charge but that helps pay them to reimburse the driver for their gas.
So yes you should still tip.
Im actually not American so ofcourse you wouldn't know this if I didn't tell you.
I think you just answered your question in that first provocative sentence.
They won't touch cash since the pandemic started can't do anything about it
my brother was around table pizza driver that's when i learned we need to tip listening to him talk about the customers tipping or not tipping
I never tip, because we don't tip in Australia.
Pizza delivery drivers actually get paid a living wage here.
yea I don't tip people because I don't tip people. I just don't do it
No offense and I consider your frustration being a delivery driver person is a risk you take
when the gratuity is already included in the bill I don't tip.
translation: i'mma cheapass that don't be tippin never
why would I tip twice
it's a fucken pizza
"i didn't tip because I thought it was included in the bill"

If you don't tip he might just do that on your next order lol.
Not a bad idea
I'd be more than happy to get one of my male drivers to cum on it for it if you are such a cum guzzler.
Yes please
Where can I get that pizza pinkmichae?
I'll leave it at the entrance of the Monterey Aquarium in Monterey, California tomorrow at 3:00pm.
I'll give you my pay pal for that tip.
