I didn’t have a car until March of my senior year and lived on the outskirts of the city, so my social outside of school was basically nonexistent.
However, within the tennis teams I was on and other social circles I floated between, I think I was generally well-liked and respected even if I was never super “popular” in the traditional sense.

Tell her I went to school he had the job to burn out the popular people the heads the nurds the cowboys and what are the girls called that wear all black with black lipstick fingernail polish.
Anyway my parents got a divorce
We moved from Calif to Nevada
My freshman year went to an all black school
We moved the next year and I had to change schools I new no one. Had to take the bus and the burnouts or the heads would always gather in the drop of place for the buses I got to know people there then in P. E. I got to know jocks because I was really good at sports. The coaches are always wanted you to try out for sports but I live 10 miles out of town
And I had to take the bus home from school really just want to because I really dirt bikes
Rather go home and ride my dirt bike
So then I got to meet guys who live I'm my valley and other guys who road dirt bikes. Their were 2 twin brother who I started hanging out with who all the girls loved because they looked like Steven Tyler. So now I new everyone the popular people the cowboys because I lived in the country the stoners or burnouts the jocks I was very shy and quite. I wanted to be invisible. And even tho everyone new me I was until one day a kid that road my bus.
He was a nurse and kinda slower in away. But he was getting picked on and I walk right past him and the look in his eyes I will never for get. As I walked 10 steps passed him I stopped turned around walk up and the kids name was JT. I asked if he was ok he didn't say anything I pushed the guy who was picking on him up against the wall and I told him if I every seen or heard if him touching my friend again I would kick his ass or anyone else that did it everyone that was there clapped I guess everyone new JT. And who he was. And didn't want to see him go threw this everyday after that everyone new who I was. there's another big thing that happen. You were not allowed to sit on the senior benches.

And legs trying to put him un a garbage can because he sat on the benches I walked up and said put him down now now there is 10 or so jock senior
Some know me some dont and they want to fight me more and more people are gathering around and now I'm being pushed by 3 guys and I start swinging at all 3 my friends show up the twins were know as bad boys the 3 guys stopped next thing I know is I'm just going to be a big bag seniors against Junior a n d
Sophomores
The next day was a Saturday every Junior every sophomore showed up at my school with their big brothers uncles their dads hundreds of kids showing up to help me my friendster fight the seniors we outnumbered the seniors 10 to 1. They didn't fight but that moment on every one could sit on the senior benches of course Monday morning principal called me and a few other people in the office but that day forward everyone new me and respected me for what I did
In high school, not really I think. I know people talked about me behind my back because apparently I was thick or something, but I never really heard any of it in-person. I tried to keep to myself but I guess I ended up being tangled with other people because some guys actually liked me. I was surprised. If we’re talking university, I was more popular. I was involved in a lot of stuff and tutored and mentored students around campus. I gave presentations, did research, was a manager in one of the departments, hosted events, was the president of an organization, and played piano at recitals. I wasn’t the most well-known, and I didn’t talk too much, but I definitely developed more of a personality in college and so I expressed that more.
I just graduated college earlier this month (Biochemistry B. S. woot woot) so that’s cool. I never thought I would graduate since it felt so long. I actually had a stable friend group for most of the 4 years and I was popular among guys in my freshman year because I tried to put myself out there. I had two boyfriends during my time there as well. One is my current boyfriend, who is a bit younger than me (by less than a year) and about to be a junior in university (two years below me in education). He’s in the same department (Chemistry) that I was in, so I mentor him through classes. This got off-track real quick... sorry.
Not really. I have always been a straight A student. I play the piano and I was in my school’s swim team, but I always managed to keep a low profile. I am a private person and despise the concept of high school hierarchy. I have social anxiety.
My brother was quite popular in high school. All his teachers adored him, including the principal. He was the school prefect and was amazing at basketball.
I got bullied in middle school for being a crybaby.. so there ya go. Popularity isn’t everything. Being popular in high school doesn’t mean anything. It isn’t a deciding factor for being successful in life.
You are only 14. Teenage years are awkward. You’ll grow out of the awkwardness. Just be yourself. Don’t pretend to be someone else to make people like you. Not everyone will like you and you have to accept that. However, your authenticity will attract people who would want to be friends with you. They are true friends. Concentrate on your studies for now.
I got along well and was pretty popular in my Catholic grammar school - 1st - 8th grade.
In public high school, which was much larger, I was also popular in certain circles. I had become a good guitarist and played in rock bands. I had good friends and got along real well with the surfers, racers (kids who had modified cars but not low riders), hippies, and rockers. I didn't like the jocks or "popular girl" types, though.
I partied like a frat boy in high school.
So I was quite happy in school.
Yeah sort of. I don't know actually. Many people know me but I don't think I'm as popular like the popular kids.
I'm popular in piano classes because I am the best piano player and have the performer attitude. Yeah there are other kids who are better in technical learnings of piano but in my batch I'm one of the best players.
I'm popular in English classes too (because of my writing skills) because our teacher sends me the notes and later I forward it in group so I get lot of attention.
I am very popular among teachers for sure though. I'm popular in classes. I don't know about social life of school, whether I'm popular in that or not.
I was invisible in school. I was the shy, quiet girl that only had a small group of "friends." I use the term friends very loosely because honestly I didn't have much in common with any of them: I was basically adopted by one of them, and they introduced me to any new people they met. And even though I had NOTHING in common with any of said friends, they just let me sit and hang out with them.
My other classmates only spoke to me when it was required: such as group projects.
Needless to say, after school, I lost touch with basically everyone, lol.

I was kinda what you would call a “floater” I could pretty much talk to every group of people and get a long for the most part. I wasn’t really close with anyone but I had a friend group. I had a small group I was particularly close to that didn’t really have a label. Some of us were stoners but some of us hated weed. Some of us cared a lot about our grades while some of us couldn’t care less and just fucked around. Most of us could talk to whoever and get along tho and we would talk anytime we saw these people. My school was also very big and while there were groups you would consider certain things there wasn’t a lot of that. No one knew just of a single person in school. The most popular student was still not known by everyone. Even the student council president wasn’t known by everyone (don’t ask his name).
In the ninth grade, yes. Popular student athlete and all-around "cool kid."
In the twelfth grade, I was the loose cannon no one messed with because they were too afraid I'd be a school shooter type.

Hell no lol. I was popular in different friend groups I guess. I was friends with the burnouts, nerds, outcasts. Basically everyone who wasn't popular lol.
And not all of the people in those groups liked me obviously, but I fluttered around like an outcast. I never really 100% fit with any of those groups.
I wasn't popular per se but people sure used to tapk about me a lot. The one's who are the baby momma for some dude who used to beat his mom and tried to punk me for liking him back after he wrote me love letters. Weeeeiiird. He probably got pissed because i found it disgusting that he beat his mom up.
I was considered an outcast but was popular among all outcasts. I was the one who would stand up to bullies and that often led to me protecting the outcasts. Several times I was able to draw together ALL the school's outcasts. Individually they could not fight the popular kids (athletes in some way) but combined we outnumbered the popular kids.
In a way yes. I was liked by everyone and could get along with them well, and I was a good student. Because of that I got the teacher's respect too. If a punishment for the whole class was too much for my taste I would speak up, and everyone would get behind me, teachers included and we would go free without punishment. If it was undeserved at least. Otherwise I would just take the L along with the others.
I knew a lot of people in school used to hangout With a lot of people. I used to Do arm wrestling matches and whoever won got paid 💴 I Played basketball 🏀 with my Homies. My Homies let me call them Nigga so that was cool. And I Fucked a lot of Girls. Girls would call me Fuck Boy

Infamous is more accurate not that I was bad just crafty I got away with a lot and get things done for people like picking a teachers lock to get someone’s phone back for 15 dollars or breaking into the teachers lounge and eating their lunches because school food was gross
I think I was somewhat popular. I had a lot of friends, got invited to parties, hung around with lots of the kids after school and on weekends. I lived 2 blocks from the beach so the kids would hang out there.
not really, the popular kids at my school were super douchey rich kids that i thought were fags. I hooked up with a lot of girls and had friends from all different groups so i had fun but i’d never be contacted to come for a high school reunion or anything 😂
Not exactly in grade school or high school but, in college I was quite "famous" I haven't been there in 20 years but, I'll bet I could still run into people there that'd know who I am and would call me by my nickname.
Depends how you define popular I guess. I was always invited to parties, guys were always asking me out and I went out on a lot of dates. But I didn’t have any friends or boyfriends. Guys would tease me and make fun of me in front of their friends and especially in front of other girls and then come find me or ask me out later when their friends weren’t around. Girls all hated and bullied me.
if it wasn’t for friends with benefits I don’t think I would have had any friends at all.
I definitely were nowhere near being popular in high school actually I was completely in the opposite I was the guy who stayed by himself but I already mentioned it I was a target for bullies at school, I hated them assholes and bitches.
