Thanks y'all
I had no money for college so I tried to get a scholarship from the Air Force. I went freshman year but during basic training they gave me an eye test I could not pass. I lost the scholarship. Then I went to a different school. I was in a 5 year program that had a work/study component. I thought I could pay for it that way. After a couple of years I started to fall behind on tuition. Finally they would not let me register because I was so behind on paying tuition. I ended up dropping out in junior year/.
A few years later I was workings for a company that would pay my tuition if I went nights. I ended up doing that. It took forever but I finally graduated.
Community college is a great resource for people right out of high school. They're usually really cheap (at least when compared to more residential schools), and they offer night classes for people who need to work during the day. They also tend to offer a lot of online courses, if that's something you tend to like.
