College Failure?

Well i failed in my second sem of my clg , It's been almost 2 months since I know this &. i literally ignored it coz I had another exam. And here's the real reason of failure, i forgot to give one exam and then i didn't voluntarily appeared for another afraid of what people will say.

I focused on my another professional course exams ( which are over now ) . Bt my 2nd yr clg lecs hv begun which i obviously can't attend. I just dk what to do...

I was an hardworking , outstanding student in high school and had got A grade in 1st sem of my college

If you're in the U. S. (in a university whose system is like what I went through), discuss with the academic-advisor assigned you by the college of your planned-degree.

Be honest. Your advisor may have counter-measures (even hidden ones) you may not know exists.

In my case, I failed 2classes in my 2nd-to-last semester, after never failing… ever. (I'd done all my easiest, most enjoyable classes at the beginning, so my last classes were like pulling teeth.) She disclosed that the 2F's could be erased if I re-do, since 2erasures were allowed us, but were not immediately disclosed as not to incentivize avoidable failures.

Who knows? Perhaps, similar counter-measures are available for you, too.

Okay, maybe, this can be made an advantage. Here in the U. S. (with ridiculously-expensive admissions-fees, classes, textbooks, boarding, etc.), it's been significantly cost-saving to take general-education classes in community-colleges, and then do the major-specific classes in university. Perhaps, you can do the same.

For future-planning, securing a listing of what classes are needed for your major (& their descriptions) should help. Whether in screenshots or written documents, this should help.

When you complete the general-education classes with good grades, this may convince your university to give you another chance. Also (with your then-accomplished classes), your load will be lighter in terms of classes to still take & total expenses!

I presume you're worried because you'll keep paying for college even though you're a semester late? I don't see this as traits of a failing student, since you're saying that you're a good student and nothing in your texts suggests that you're unhappy with your chosen field of study, whatever it is.

College failure is going to college out of pressure or ignorance and going way further than the second semester to then hate what you study, get a degree in a dead useless field to then deal with paying it off.

It's okay to fail.
