My coworker is working on a project with me but she’s telling me she doesn’t have time or bandwidth to do it. What should I do (I’m stressed af)?

My boss put her as a co-owner with me and she’s just acting like she has no idea what’s going on with the project and now I have to step up and really lead it, and I’m still learning about it too. We’re meeting with someone today to discuss it.

Deadline? Can you replace her on the project?
She needs to fix her bandwidth issue ASAP, and unless she is swamped with other company business, she needs to fix her time management issues.
Definitely communicate with relevant individuals within your company/business, and update them concerning the issue. Tell them what you are dealing with, your lack of staff concerning the project, and I would recommend replacing her on the project or granting you an extension concerning a deadline. If you need to take the project on solo and finish it by the deadline, then do what you have to, but make sure that others are up to speed concerning her lack of involvement. It will allow you to plan a crew better in the future, and it will hold her accountable.

Yeah for sure! Good advice. Today in the meeting she didn’t talk or lead at all... during the day she had a lot of ‘internet issues’ and I’m pretty sure just did ONE task the whole day based on a Skype convo I had with her.
She just doesn’t seem interested in the work.
She also hasn’t helped our new girl AT ALL. I’m pulling my weight here so much.

Go to her and explain your concerns. If she doesn't offer a solution that's satisfactory, then go to your boss and raise your concerns, stating you feel the project will fail because of her lack of commitment.

Well she’s a selfish bitch. I helped her onboard and spent a lot of time helping and coddling her and I have questions on things she’s more technically experienced at and she just seems annoyed.

My boss told me if someone isn’t helping me to let her know. But this girl is one of her favorites. But she takes little initiative and sets up meetings I end up running.
