A few older ladies at work complained about me for looking too attractive?

Im literally baffled.

i work for the court service and appear in court everyday. At least 2 older ladies who are volunteer magistrates (members of the judiciary nonetheless) filed a formal complaint about me to my boss for looking ‘too attractive’ in court!

Like what am I meant to do, shave off my head?

Don’t worry about it. Let them be jealous and trust me there definitely is jealousy involved, even if they say it’s for professional reasons that they filed complaint.
Keep it going. You often have absolutely unnecessary toxic environments between women in their working environments. It’s just life.
So again don’t worry. And if you ask me. Double your attractiveness just to rub it in their face. Of course stay professional;)

Lol just like many other women hating on each other especially when they don’t have the looks or get the attention like other women do. I take it they’re probably ugly, old maybe. So what do they want you to do? Dress in baggy clothes? I wouldn’t worry about it.

Legal professionals can be very, very petty. I know reporters and videographers whom cannot do depositions with certain attorneys because those attorneys want to be the center of attention, and will not be with someone prettier and younger in the room.

Some people are so bitter, they seem to thrive on negativity. That happened to a colleague of mine, she got a complaint for "dressing too provocatively" (I saw her almost every day, she was not).
