How do I tell my boss I'm coming back to work tomorrow?

I work for a commercial cleaning company. Lately I've only been working Tuesday and Thursdays. I used to work 5 days a week but we lost a contract with a place I used to clean and we are trying to get a contract with another place. I was sick all last week. At the end of the week I felt a lot better so I said I would be good to go next week. Well it's next week but I don't work Mondays so was gonna not work today and work tomorrow when I usually do. Well my boss lives in a town 2 hours away from me. The closest employee lives a half hour away so there may be having them cover for me. So I have no idea who is covering for me. If my boss is covering for me, I don't want them to drive 2 hours tomorrow to find out that they don't need to cover for me. Or maybe she is staying in a hotel or something. Should I ask who is covering for me? Should I just show up to work tomorrow without saying anything or should I warn my boss?
