Why do teachers respect girl's privacy but not boys?

I forgot my pe kit at school the other day so the teacher gave me spare shorts and t shirt. But a lot of girls in another pe class didn't bring their kit and brought swim stuff instead because their online timetables were wrong. There werent enough spare t shirts in the girls changing room so me and the other 2 boys who forgot had to give the t shirts back and just do the lesson in shorts, because the girls "needed them more" because they "needed privacy". How is this fair?

Because the girls all wear one-peice swimsuits and a swimsuit and shorts is almost like a shirt and shorts anyway so they could of easily just worn that. But the teacher still decided the girls should have the t shirts and us 3 boys should do the lesson in the gym in just shorts, with girls also in the gym. It's just sexism the other way around.

Because the girls would feel very uncomfortable and self-conscious. You are lucky you are a boy and do not need to worry about people looking at your body in the same way girls do, it is a privilege. If you'd just brought your gym clothes as you should have it wouldn't have been a problem anyway.

@Kryzo I'm sure they do but it's not as bad as with girls because of objectification and misogyny. (Anyway it's just tops off which boys and men do by choice all the time)

And there's no sexism here because there it's not about a male-female power imbalance, or if anything it's about male power, because girls feel they have to be "modest"

It's not really a violation of privacy because you're a guy e. g. we used to do shirts vs skins at camp quite often when there werent enough of those colored vest things even if there were girls nearby or if female counsellors were supervising, no one complained

Maybe but wouldn’t it of been fairer to let us wear the T shirts and shorts and some girls wear swimsuits and shorts rather than giving the t shirts to girls and making us do it in shorts and shirtless. Or they could of just let us wear our school uniform shirts.
