I gained weight and like I can still close the pants but it's really tight and looks awful haha Now I have no other choice then wearing a Jeans and a Blazer for today smh
What do you wear for Job Interviews?
It depends on the company and type of job. If you have a job interview for Bank-Salesman (in German: Bankkauffrau/-mann) then you can wear a dark business jeans, dark gentlemen's shoes and a white shirt
Otherwise, by my experience, some companies don't mind what you are wearing besides a cap, hoodie or tank top🤷🏾♂️ but it's always better to go clean and well-dressed :)
So therefore I'd do research about the company etc.
The most Important thing is your knowledge about the company, the passion you have for the job, everything what you bring on the table.
1. Eye contact
2. Stop muttering (in german: Murmeln)... like: "mmmmhhhh... well... you know? Oh man... " > that's insecurity.
3. Ask a lot of questions !!! Very important one. Because I have gathered a lot of experience. They'd sometimes go quiet after they finish their sentence to make you nervous. The method you can use is: BE OPEN THAT YOU ARE FEELING NERVOUS BECAUSE IT INDICATES STRONG COMMUNICATION.
4. DO NOT LIE ABOUT YOUR RESUMÉ. So when your strengths don't match to your personality after some time or weaknesses... it might be a difficult situation.
5. Be yourself!!!
For those who have a job interview 🍀🍀 I wish you so so so so so much good luck🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 hope you will make it👊🏾
Depends on what the job interview is for. If its the type of job that jeans would be acceptable to wear while working then yes I would wear (and have worn) jeans to interviews. Basically in my opinion you should match your attire to the job’s. If the job will be business casual. Dress business casual for the interview. If you would be wearing a suit for the job. Wear a suit for the interview. I have actually worn a suit to an interview for a job that was more of a worn out jeans and work boots type job and it went over poorly with the interviewer because I came across as someone that might not be comfortable getting my hands dirty. Yes they actually said that.
Just make sure the jeans are in good condition, no rips. Not faded and old looking. Fit correctly. And wear a decent top with it. Nothing like band T’s or anything with writing.
I will go and show up in interview with pants and hoodie and still get selected, I will roast them so much that they will feel embarrassed to reject me.
Jk jk
As a daughter of business parents, I have observed many interviews that my dad takes. And common light blue full jeans are okayish but not really great. I mean it's really appropriate but you don't wanna risk your interview for wearing jeans. It's appropriate but not ideal.
Just an idea that I've used whilst I was pregnant.

For the jeans, I think it depends on the place. Some places are very casual and wearing jeans would be fitting; wearing a suit would be overdressed, not fitting with the style and vibe of the workplace and look (to me) as though the person hadn't done research into what and where they were applying to.
The kast job interview I've been to, I didn't wear jeans. It wasn't the place for it lol.
Shirt and pants. Jeans included. But gotta go in with a clean shirt, no shirt with a logo. However, it does depend on what they say is acceptable. They say come in business formal, you come in business formal. They say just puts some clothes on and smell clean, ya do it. So depends on the interviewer, honestly
do you have any formal skirt, as per my opinion skirt goes the best for job interview.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks but I don't have skirts and it's way tooo cold.
oo i see.. then you have no other option left except jeans.
do wear it and best of luck for the interview. :) :)
No. That's not a good first impression.
Black slacks would be better
I found some braunish-black squared ones in my basement that fit okay and wore that with a black blouse
Yeah it was really well but I have three more for this week, so we will see what happens haha
Thank you so much!🙏🏼 I really appreciate that
First off I do a little research about the company to see what the dress code requirement is. And do dress up one notch above requirement for the employees. For example for a man you go in business casual and wear a tie. For a woman you can wear a dress or a nice pair of casual pants. Women have a better choice than men when it comes to business casual.
I mean it totally depend on what kind of job you are going to interview for. I work in the trades and jeans are totally appropriate it sounds like it would not be though for what you do… good luck though!!
I’m in a blue collar field, so denim pants are fine for interviews. If you are applying for a job that sets the office attire bar a little higher, you should dress up to that expectation for the interview, at a minimum.
What is appropriate depends on the job for whch you are interviewing. As an attorney, I would not go to an interview in anything less than a suit, white dress shirt, and tie.
It depends on the job. A good rule is slightly better dressed then the average days clothing for the job. So for a construction job a mice pair of jeans and a collared shirt is probably good. An office kob, not as good.
Depends on what you're trying to get hired on as and with. Jeans are more appropriate for things like farm labor or construction
You should wear to a job interview what you would wear on the job, or nicer. If it's a blue color manual job, jeans might be appropriate. If it's a white color office job, probably not.
Absolutely not, even when. I applied for a job at an ace cream shop when i was 15, I wore a business type skirt, blouse, and jacket.
Khaki light tan pants, long sleeve collared shirt, my best pair of shoes I can find. Sometimes with or without a tie.
In your case since you have a few hours, go buy some new dress pants or a dress. 👍🙂
I always hire the one with the skills over the ones with no skills... regardless of whatever they wear, lol
A lot of jobs go casual today. You can pull it off.
No, only job interview I had I wore a suit (I got the job) and other interviews are suited when they occur
it all depends on what the job description entails. if you are going to an interview to be a trash collector would you go to the interview wearing $500 pants?
Omg i dont think i could ever wear jeans for an interview. glad you found trousers haha
I usually like to wear a skirt, blouse, and blazer when I interview. Just makes me feel the most confident!
I don;t think jeans are appropriate for a job interview.
Am attractive woman might be able to get away with this but most people should never wear jeans to a job interview.
