Have you ever had a cinderella moment (see mine below)?

For starters, this ain't ya typical cinderella story. Alright, SO ABOUT AN HOUR AGO, ME AND THE WHOLE SQUAD JUST GOT FIRED *echoes* 🤣 (Read more below) I’m personally not sweatin it because i hated the bullshit job and gave up about a week ago because i felt this coming. But i didn't think the whole squad would get dropped. I mean my coworkers range from age 20 sumn to 50 sumn. These folks are not just working in the biz/education/administrative sector but they also are students in school or elderly or got kids. I dont relate but I feel bad for em. I do and I blame the poor training. Overall, I just hate to go through this fckin jobhunt again. Because I had to report 50k+ income for the year, my insurance premium skyrocketed like a mf! I was trying to report an income change to get it knocked down some because I’d prefer not to waste my savings from the past 5 years on useless moneyhungry doctors who don’t know wtf they’re talking about. (I totally rather waste it on casinos and skateboards) 💀🤣 But now I’m being told by the insurance company that if i report an income change today that I lose my plan. And i like my plan. I was advised to get another job by 11:59pm Saturday of next week so that I have some kinda income to report to keep my plan. I like deadlines but this man gotta be out his mf mind 😂 It take me like 30+ days to score a job lol. I’m about to be prayin like crazy but if i dont find something decent within the week then I’ll just let the current insurance plan go. Because i refuse to settle for fast food and I’m never returning to retail (sporting goods). So yea, my not so typical Cinderella moment is to see if i can beat this clock. Faaaaauck 🤣🙈 🙏#FeelFreeToList

One time I was in a similar situation where my life was getting too complicated, I had a small child at home, I wasn't sleeping well, and I could feel that my job was coming to an end. Luckily I looked in the newspaper and saw that a woman I knew was hiring for her company. I used to party with her years ago and all it took was one phone call and she gave me the job. I had a new job before I even quit my old one and my bosses were pissed because they just wanted to lecture me, but Instead I sent an email to my whole department saying everything that's wrong with it and that I'm leaving. I didn't even need a letter of recommendation. It was ideal.

Keep your head up, maybe you know somebody who's hiring?

When I was 16, my first real job was at a place called Pup 'n Taco. They sold hot dogs, chili dogs, burritos, crispy tacos, etc.

I was really good at working the front and drive-thru windows, making change, and making up the orders. As it turned out, I was supposed to be wiping the place down whenever I had a moment. I never caught on to that.

I was young. Two older teens worked there but they were dicks and so was the boss. Nobody really talked to me or instructed me except about the money and how to make and wrap the orders.

One day, after I had been working there a couple months, the boss came in and said he wouldn't be needing me anymore.
My reaction was to say "Thanks!" and leave. Fuck that job. LOL

Not sure if to feel sorry if you hated the job. But I do wish you luck finding a new one soon. That's also not reasonable to give you that time to find a job, they sound like a holes.

I'd have suggested but there is too many not picking to do, and too few suggestions I can make for an international person. How big of a salary you need minimum, if you actually want that type of job, etc.

That sucks Dizzy but I think you will get a new better job quickly. You've got the personality to do so. Fingers crossed.

The company sounds insane as you complained about the training before. It seems to me they are making the same mistake of not supporting the staff and expecting different results. You are better off outa there.

Wow…. sorry to hear. Hopefully you can find something quickly. Unexpectedly losing a job always sucks…. although it sounds like you might have seen it coming anyway.

The closest I ever came to a moment like that…. a coworker was bad mouthing me behind my back…. I made an expensive error and the owner came in to fire me (wasn’t expecting it at all). I apologized, we talked about a lot of things and then he said I could stay if I took a pay cut. I agreed…. kicked the job in the ass…. The coworker had a shocked look when he came back in our shared office (that I was still employed). He left the company in less than a year as I (undercover) highlighted his continual errors. I stayed many more years and received substantial raises and helped the owner transform his business.

Thats really rough. I know you don't like your job but losing your insurance plan, thats too bad. I mean i really hate how everyone with different income has different insurance plan. If you got a good job, you get premium otherwise you just something basic. This is completely bs

Go collect unemployment for a while. Make them mofos pay. Give them a taste of bullshit.
We have to check in with unemployment every week here too. You call in and answer a questionnaire. Why should I use your savings. Make them keep paying you.
