I cannot speak for you.. But every single female boss I have ever had was a narcissist, very dishonest, stabbed me and others in the back.. Was very mean and incredibly unfair if you weren't one of her favorites.. One even felt like it was OK to sexually harass me, and when I reported it, I was fired.. So you might be the unicorn, but most women I have worked with who were senior over me were out right pieces of shit.
@The_Shadow_Dweller my supervisor and manager are both women. And both very good at their jobs. Manager used to be the supervisor for woman who is currently my supervisor when she was in my position. That was only like 5 years ago. So with luck I will be there too in the next few years.
I'm more interested in why you think some men behave this way. I think you know the answer. It's unfortunately really obvious and I'm convinced if you're someone's boss you're definitely smart enough to figure it out.
Some of my favorite bosses were women by the way.

I don't think that's true for most guys, at least I haven't seen it at all. But I've had some really bad experiences myself with female bosses. They can be really mean and vindictive to other females.
Personally I don’t have a problem with female bosses or managers. My only gripe is women in a managerial position tend to be bitchier and more uptight. From my experience, especially with school if something came up it was actually the male teachers and male professors who had more sympathy towards me. People who abuse their power I don’t respect. Life is too short for other people’s poor behaviour.
I for one, am very respectful with all the female I work with. When doing the job, just focus on the job. But I have seen some girls behave like you mentioned. That is scary. I felt good for being a guy at that time lol! I mean, from my POV, I cannot do anything even if a fight breaks out. Because they are girls.
Half the jobs I've had my life, my boss has been female. In my current job my boss is female. I've had zero issues with any of them. Some guys just aren't nice guys and they'll find fault with anyone.

That's not true, the vast majority of guys couldn't care less. It's actually women who seem to hate the idea of having a female boss, and tbh I can see why. Female bosses can be ruthless to female subordinates. I've been shocked many times by how badly some women treat their employees, but those same women seem to treat male employees fine.

To clarify, I said, this was only a few male staff, not every male working for me, but also bad bosses are just bad bosses. Doesn't matter the sex. It's pretty clear walking into an office how staff are treated and how they react to the boss if it's poor management or someone abusing their power, but I had a good team, and anon staff evaluations of my performance were good, so I can genuinely say, I wasn't in that category. We had a lot of staff events outside of work, and so many would participate. They weren't mandatory at all. Who hangs out with the boss on their free time, if they hate them or their co-workers? Not many I imagine.
Here's the thing though. Assholes gonna be assholes, to anyone who will let them get away with it. Those guys who are assholes to a female boss are going to be assholes to a male boos too, if they allow it. It's not a gender thing... it's a respect thing. I've seen it over and over again.
I read an article recently about the "sexism" women face in the workplace, and the biggest complaint was what they call "micro aggression". But everyone, male or female, faces micro aggression. I manage a team of high power analysts and yeah, I experience micro aggression all the time, from both sexes. Do I get to call it sexism when I experience micro aggression from a female? It's not sexism... it's assholes being assholes.
By the way, what I mentioned about female bosses being ruthless to other females... the most common examples I have seen of micro aggression, by far, have been female on female micro aggression. Is that sexism?
I just wish we as a society could move beyond the compulsion to make everything about men versus women. The vast majority of instances of "sexism" are not sexism at all. They are just people being assholes to other people, some of whom happen to be women.
Some women in a position of power tend to be on a power trip in an attempt to prove themselves. If they’re not on a power trip i don’t really care if they are a leader. One of the best leaders at my job right now was a woman.
All the women I met who were in a 'leader position' sooner or later were bitching around about work un-related stuff.
I'm not in the mood for drama.
Be focused, and I'll have no problem.

Women nag, women don’t know how to lead, women can be bitchy and manipulative, women aren’t compassionate at work they think life is one big BREAK THEIR EGO, BREAK THEIR BALLS…all for her sick twisted way to climb up the corporate latter. I can’t stand female bosses, they overcomplicate things and they tend to be ruder and knit pick stupid shit. That’s not a leader, to me that’s a loser trying to justify her actions so she can have the perception of being a boss.

I have had many female bosses and they have, for the most part, been great at their job and great managers. I do know that many companies want to meet their diversity quota by having a certain number of women in managerial positions so there is the likelihood that a lot of female managers have no business being managers and are downright tyrants. That hasn’t been the case in my situation, luckily. I currently have two female bosses who are both very talented and professional.
Only had one woman boss, who should not have held the position, and she was put in place by the prior male manager. She was away over her head in the job she held at the Boeing Corporation.
Do you have proof that it’s because you’re a woman and not because they just don’t like you as a boss

I mean, I could have literally sat there and played back the security cams type evidence, but I wasn't trying to file any claims, nor can you or would I want to for the reason of "someone doesn't like or respect you." All I can say was that I wasn't a hard or unreasonable boss. I know from the outside not knowing me, it may elicit an eye roll, but I genuinely cared about my team. The anon staff reviews I got of my performance were in the 90s, so if it were something I was doing or wasn't, it didn't seem to effect either the other men on staff or the women. Part of those staff reviews included space to write something staff wanted us to improve and they never wrote anything so again, hard to say what their issue was, but I can't seem to find any other reasoning behind it or why they seemed to respect male supervision over my own.
Fragile egos and deep insecurity. I only had 3 female bosses, 2 of them were the head of the company, one I didn't see her much but she was a very cool person and the other I worked with daily was also a nice woman and pleasant woman to work with.
Personally I HATE having a female boss. I literally can’t stand it. Why? I really don’t know. It seems a little unnatural to me. Feminists will hate me, but it’s the truth, and a LOT of guys think the same but are afraid to say it.
they don't. that's what feminazis claim to have a reason for their existance. i mean obviously with everything in life, there's "someone" who doesn't like it but that doesn't matter.

This is just my personal experience, not an indictment of all women. At my present company we have female staff, all of which are incredible.
They don’t. The vast majority of guys couldn’t care less as long as their boss actually knows their shit.
So true. I just want a good manager, and intend to become one when I get my MBA.
@The_Shadow_Dweller my supervisor and manager are both women. And both very good at their jobs. Manager used to be the supervisor for woman who is currently my supervisor when she was in my position. That was only like 5 years ago. So with luck I will be there too in the next few years.
I hope it works out for you!
@The_Shadow_Dweller Me too lol. supervisor is making at least 80k a year. Manager at least 120k
And a top engineer makes around 20 to 25K in India when counted in $ lol! It is really cheap for corporations to outsource their IT work in India lol!
That same engineer may as well earn 5 to 6 times in The US.
This happens due to currency.
Most don’t but some do, I think this question is about the some.
@tiajoka Sure, but the "some" are ultimately irrelevant.

My last 4 bosses in the corporate world spanning 20 years were women. Some were good some not so much.
That’s true. The ones that aren’t feminists and just there to show men whose boss. I can’t stand women like that.
But a normal woman whose a boss. I don’t really care.
Neither does most people

Meooooow! Sorry, there is just something about a women that takes charge. As you can see I don't take issue with it. LOL
Personally I HATE having a female boss.

This is just my experience but they tended to be more vindictive when you disagree with their decisions or speak up.
That doesn't mean male bosses i had weren't jerks either they certainly were
Because they don't respect women. Simple as that. They may say otherwise but they're just lying to themselves.
I have no idea 🤷♂️. I'm male (just registered as female to understand the difference in treatment), and I prefer female bosses.
Did you notice any difference in treatment? I am curious.
