My parents made me translate everything for them all the time as a kid. The only English words they would say was "(my name) translate".
I grew up hating it because it felt like an obligation and not one of those moments where you can sometimes correct a Spanish speaker that's at least trying. I HATE translating. Is this normal?
There are some things I still have a difficult time explaining in Spanish such as home equity concepts or say to say foreclosure in Spanish. I know the word but not the correct translation.

Plus my parents sounded of entitled when I once heard them (in Spanish) explaining how they don't speak a single word in English nor care to learn and then added "Why brother, we got (my name) as our translator".

How would your parents communicate if you were not around? In your situation I can understand why you would hate it. Maybe you should go to a book store and buy them a book to learn how to speak English, put it in front of them and say " I learned now it's your turn ". I think you should use tough love on them.
That's why you never do someones work for them. I can share my knowledge but I do expect them to actually use it. Make them try to speak and just give them single words not the whole sentences.
Yeah my parents are examples of lazy immigrants not wanting to learn English and relying on a native born American child as their translator as stated by my update.
They never lacked money to take English classes nor lacked time. There was enough and have no learning disabilities. They're lazy. I hate that.

True. They have no real good reason not to learn English. They admitted it themselves that they didn't care to learn because they have me as translator. I hate when immigrant parents do that.
