I had in mind when asking this question , a job interview where I was doing the interview ( with the State Sales manager at the time an older guy ) , it was a sales representatives role with a car..
In came a lady ( obvious same sex , but Allan would not have thought of that ) ... He said..
" So , 36 years of age , and single - no prospects? " , even then and this was long ago , I wanted to hide in the corner - OMG ! Even then ( 20 plus years ago ) , you didn't say that.

I just didn't want to be there. The interview itself was normal. What makes it the worst is just the fact that I didn't want the job at all. But it was for three months only.

I've done similar , those are the gigs you always get :) , this happened to me in this bedding place in Brisbane , then I thought " Oh Shit , I have to go do it " , I didn't last , I hated it.
