Who is self employed in here also are you really earning good money from it?

I've done a fair amount of it in the past, doing various types of work. I never did it long term in any one thing though.

I actually prefer working for someone else. When you work for yourself you have to do everything. You probably make very little money for the total time you put in. You only get paid for part of your work, potentially less than half the time you work. The amount of overhead depends a lot on the type of work.

When you work for someone else, you get paid for what you are good at, and hopefully what you like doing. Someone else does all the other stuff that either you aren't as good at, or prefer not to do. You have a steady paycheck.

When you work for yourself you are pretty much constantly looking for work. Call it sales if you want, but sales isn't what pays. Only the actual work pays.

I've done a lot of mixed work that is sort of in between working for myself and working for someone else. It paid pretty well. I would contract / consult to a company, usually going through an agency. The agency took care of the sales, paperwork, etc. If I didn't go through an agency, I'd contract myself as a temporary employee on the customer's payroll, or I'd work under the table. Regardless of how it was set up, the work itself was the same.

Thanks for your answer, what you suggest as side work, for example I am working for someone else but I want to do my job too, what you suggest?

If I understand what you are asking, side work should be the same as your regular job. That's the skills and experience you already have. If you can get steady customers and are confident that you can make a living that way, then you can eventually quit your regular job.
