Why are some people so sarcastic and rude at work sometimes?

Okay so today at work wasn’t that great. I mean the kids are awesome even they’re a handful. So the girl (let’s call her Elizabeth) that works on the front was kind of edgy today. I mean we all have our off days and don’t always have good days. Okay so when I took the attendance up, Elizabeth had an attitude saying, “About freaking time.” I asked if she was okay because she sounded a little rude. She snapped back and said, “Well turn it in as soon as all of your students have got checked out. Am I supposed to thank you?” She usually says thanks you.
Wow….. very rude so I walked off and went on with my day. Elizabeth could have been nicer. Sheesh.
I work in a kinder/1st grade classroom with three other staff (the teacher and two other teacher assistants). I’m also a teacher assistant. So one of the kids was trying to get his lunch box but I thought he was getting his drink. I asked him if he was thirsty. One of the teacher assistant (let’s call her Makenzie) scolded at me saying, “NO! He’s hungry. You CLEARLY say that he was getting his food. Why ask that? Give it here, I’ll put his lunchbox on the shelf.” She snatched it out of my hand.
The other two teachers didn’t defend me and just kept going with the lesson. I don’t think Makenzie likes me that much. She’s kind and nurturing but she is FAR from nice.
What a tough day. Why can’t people just be nice sometimes, well not too nice.

That’s is why women will never run this world w out men. You all fight w each other. Even where I work at, the hospital, women nurses always stabbing each other behind their backs. Yes she was ride. Both of them were. So either stick up for yourself, or chances are it will continue to happen unless you leave. But what if it happens somewhere else? Can’t keep leaving every job. Speak up. Maybe they may not have realized it to which they may make amends. But they may just not like you so they showed their true colors. A lot of people are sarcastic or rude because they’re upset w a lot of things in their life. But not always. I’m like that at times but that’s cause a lot of these damn nurses expect me to do a lot of things as a male cause “they can’t do it.” So it get irritating.

What the he’ll do you mean women can’t survive the world without mean? I know women and girls are mostly catty but you’re saying we’re too weak for the world by ourselves? We don’t need protection all the time.

Lol If a newly elected gov’t of women said we need all women w the last names from A-M to report to their local city council tomorrow for job reassignment, how many would? How many would take a job as a road construction worker, oil rig worker, cops, firefighter, military, etc? Probably not a lot cause many of you would complain.

Lol because women tend to pick easy office jobs. Why aren’t there women out there working the roads, oils rigs, truck drivers, etc? I don’t mean one or two either or even a hundred. I mean like equal or almost equal to men. I sure as hell don’t want to do it but someone has to. Would you take one of those jobs over your current job?
