Should I make a new company for another tech product I'm working on, or release and manage it under my current startup?

Making my own social website and as soon as I'm finished developing it, I'll be deploying it online. I already registered my AI startup with the government since late July, so I don't know if it's just better to stick with 1 company. I don't have the funds nor manpower to establish a holding/parent company so don't recommend that. 2/5 members have left and I'm considering kicking out a 3rd member since she's so lazy, which makes it only me and my friend from university (the others I connected via LinkedIn). My startups will be entirely remote until they gain enough profits to convince me to take it hybrid or entirely offline so yeah.

Financially then it'd be best to not make a new company, but legally I think it's better to incorporate my current company

It's quite expensive to incorporate a business and also I'd have to abide by extra laws and regulations; benefits being I can't be held personally liable for what the corporation does, and the company is legally it's own entity/person

Well, do you have potential board members you can trust?

I have a team member who's legally part of the partnership and somebody else that I'm considering to kick out; I don't really trust her since she's so lazy so I don't know

Line up potential board members before you decide what to do and see what they think. Try to find someone with a legal background.

My startup isn't even really doing any business yet; I'm still working on the MVP since my attempts to acquire funding from angel investors, VC firms, and random entities have failed. I will still consider angel investors and VC firms in the future though, and currently considering crowdfunding and grants.
