Do you prefer going to a physical work location over remote work?

I've tried remote work, it's not all that great.
When I was in University, I enjoyed face to face classes just as much as digital classes and socially I prefer digital interaction to physical interaction because there is a manual cost to face to face meeting such as being exposed to transportation costs, meal planning costs, fashion and social procedures, and limitations on when you can zone in and out of a chosen conversation after a scheduled social event in the physical world. But you do appreciate things more when you are physically present.
I absolutely hated working from home. I was forced to do it when we started teaching through virtual school during COVID. But I still hated teaching virtually even when we were able to work inside the school building.
I just hated not being with my students, and having parents meddling when I was trying to give the morning lesson before having students do asynchronous work offline.
Given the choice, physical work location. You learn so much by being around others. Not only about the job, but about "life".

I would take remote work in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for the fact that the one I best qualify for is call centers. Fuck that shit, never doing it again
I did remote call center work it sucks
I don't like working from home at all. I need to meet people face to face.
I would love to work remotely. Why do you find it not so great?
I don't know if it's just in general or just my specific company
Oh. It could be the company. But if you like working with people I could see why you wouldn't find it that great.
Remote all the way.
Remote. I like to work alone.
I prefer physical work
Hell no.
