Nowadays unless you are a billionaire, millionaire or managed to inherit a substantial amount of money where you don’t have to worry about anything you have to work to live. On the flip side if you live to work are you really living? I don’t think so.
Live to work. I have to work. There's a very thin line separating me between bum and a productive citizen, and that doesn't get any wider no matter how much I get paid. I have to work. It's very important. I'm the type to rot away if I don't.

I don't love my work, but I do like it... I love that it gives me time, flexibility and means, to spend more time with the ones I love in my life
and it is not that I "need" to work but I do need to do something as work, lol... I don't like to have much free time with "nothing to do"
I'm the lucky one, as I do at work what I love...
but I wouldn't say I live to work. Software engineering is one of many of my passions... and I split my week between all of them...
That's a complicated question. I used to work to live. Now I have enough assets that now I live to work. But that's only because I love what I do now. I do it with the knowledge that I can quit anytime. And that makes it truly enjoyable because it's on my terms now. Most don't even refer to what a do as work.
I live to work, but I refuse to work and be unhappy so I am very selective at what I do even if it means being broke, but fortunately God takes care of me.
My job is superconvenient and fun for me.
But I wouldn't work if I had enough money. 😂
It's still just a job to pay my stuff.
Work to live.
It's a job, it's a career, it pays the mortgage and funds a wife and children. I strive to keep it viable because I need the income. If a rich uncle leaves me a million inheritance, I would not need the job anymore.
Work to live. Gotta support myself and my cat somehow especially after my rent went up from $760 to $810 for a 1 bedroom apartment 🤷🏻♂️

In my career path, a mix of both. I love what I do with a passion but also need to earn to keep me off the street aha
