Is our point and purpose to have a job in this life?

But what if AI takes over most jobs and people get UBI. Let's imagine all humans get basic income and have unlimited free time in this world. Then what will we do? What will we talk? What will be the purpose of all humans coz today everyone talks about their education, and job and income... And what will be the competition subject on that day?

The purpose of life extends beyond jobs and income. In a world with universal basic income and AI-driven automation, we could focus on personal growth, creativity, and community. People might pursue passions, engage in lifelong learning, and cultivate relationships. Discussions could center around philosophical inquiries, creative endeavors, and social improvements. Competition might shift towards personal achievements, arts, and contributions to societal well-being. The focus could be on fulfilling higher-order needs, finding joy, and supporting others. Life's meaning could be shaped through self-discovery and enhancing collective human experiences.

It is neither our point nor our purpose to have a job in this life.
It is something that we do to survive.
At least, most of us. If someone is that passionate about their job that it is their purpose that is good for them, but I don't think that is the case for most of us.
As for what will happen, we will adapt.
That is what humanity always does.
I will think about it when the time comes.
For now, you can build skills that are related to AI, since that is the next thing.
If you fear something and simultaneously get fascinated by it, it is better to have full knowledge of how it works, rather than none at all.
But hey that is just my opinion. I might be wrong.
