Do I sound over qualified for this job?

Master Age: 40

My LinkedIn profile says I got 40% above the class average on my Orthodox Judaism Essay and that I got 98% in South Asian Religions. I also wrote that I edited my cousins PhD thesis at John Hopkin's University before they became they became a South Carolina Professor.

I am trying to figure out why I have not gotten an interview invitation 1.5 hours after handing out my resume to the boss.

Don't worry about if you are over qualified. just keep applying to any job that you think will be a great fit for you.
