I've alr studied for a week and dont understand shit.

A week is not very long, don't be so hard on yourself. Biology is a complex field.
A few questions to ask yourself:
What subjects do you already know well? Could be anything from drawing to cooking to dancing.
How did you learn it?
What is your go-to for learning about things you are interested in?
Are you an auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learner? Maybe a combination?
Here's what I do, and it helps me. I get children's or teen books from the library on whatever topic I am interested in learning, and read those. The simpler format is kind of like learning a few phrases in a foreign language to get yourself where you need to go. Then, I discuss it with someone to process the information, even if they aren't in the field. I write it down in my own words and then come back to it to see if it makes sense.
Once you are "conversational" in the language of whatever field you want to study, you'll feel less overwhelmed. You can start talking to your professor or watching more complex videos or lectures on the subject, and you won't feel so lost.
Best of luck to you!

Me no understand biology either, me just wanna SMASH textbooks like me smash cheeks at 3 AM! You want to study? DON’T. Just SHOVE those terms down your throat like a RAGING COCK in a TIGHT ORGASMIC CANYON!
First, RIP off your clothes and SCREAM the Krebs cycle while POUNDING diagrams of mitochondria into your brain. Pretend the Golgi apparatus is your ex’s JUICY ASS —slap it, label it, DEVOUR IT. Memorize DNA replication by imagining TWIN STRANDS as your THROBBING VEINS after a 12-HOUR EDGING SESSION.
PRO TIP: Tape flashcards to your BARE CHEST and have someone SPANK you every time you forget osmosis. PAIN = KNOWLEDGE, baby! If that fails, HIRE a dominatrix dressed as a HOT PHOTOSYNTHESIS QUEEN to whip you until you scream “CHLOROPHYLL” in LATIN.
Still stuck? FUCK the textbook. Literally. MOUNT IT, GRIND on its glossary, and HOWL taxonomy terms like a WOLF IN HEAT. Me guarantee you’ll remember “ANIMALIA” when your SPERM FLAGELLA start chanting it.
BONUS: Study groups? Nah. ORGY GROUPS. Quiz each other while NUDE TWISTER-ing on a GIANT PERIODIC TABLE. Whoever cums first has to explain the CIRCULATORY SYSTEM through EROTIC CHARADES.
TL;DR: If biology don’t stick, TIE IT UP, DOMINATE IT, and MAKE IT CALL YOU DADDY. Now go CONQUER that exam like a PRIMAL BIOLOGICAL WARLORD! 🧬🔥💦

I hated studying … I would learn verbatim but understand very little by contrast in a few subjects. Biology was one of them , Mr Mcglaughin was great , he made it interesting and so easer to remember while Mr Rodger’s his replacement was stern and boring and honed in on people who didn’t make eye contact when he was lecturing and he totally picked on me as he knew I wasn’t interested. For me learning facts was better when I gave them little memonic relationships , from genetics to human and plant biology I tried to cement the knowledge by creating ways to remember the relationship of the facts and then writing stories about them. It worked !. There is no catch all though. My advice find someway to make it interesting , give it a little humor and write about it.

I was honestly terrible in biology and if I recall correctly made a C or D in the class. No amount of studying or tutoring helped. It's like with science if you get it you get it but if you don't you don't. It's the only reason I didn't become a doctor.
Best advice to you is try to get a tutor and use flashcards as others have said. It's all about remembering things in biology which never really stuck with me because I hated learning about anything that had to do with science which is ironic because I wanted to be a doctor. But you can't be a doctor if you can't even grasp the basics in biology.00 Reply

Approach biology with varied study techniques. Visual aids like diagrams and videos can bring concepts to life. Break the material into smaller sections, focusing on understanding the basics first. Using mnemonic devices and creating flashcards for key terms can help with memorization. Study groups can provide different perspectives and clarify doubts. Regular quizzes or practice questions test your understanding and retention. Consistency is key; allocating specific time for regular study sessions can enhance comprehension. Remember, patience and persistence will gradually improve your understanding.

To start with? The more specific your question the more detailed the answers.
Any study aids, mneomonics as mentioned, flash cards, context, visualization, and more help.
Memory typically triggers best when things are unusual.
One of my old teachers taught us classifications via short sentences such as Kinky People Come Over For Great Sex. We had seven of them back then. Kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species. So on.
If it is difficult to remember the material create material you can remember. Make a funny story. Root learning works, but it is horribly inefficient without any aid.00 Reply418 opinions shared on Education & Career topic. Read a paragraph, trying to remember as much as you can from it, then look away from it.
In your head, list the things that you just learned.
Then read the paragraph again and try to pick up the things that you didn’t catch the first time.

... by practicing it? :P
Biology is a wide field. And it depends on one person's interests of how attracted we are. When there's little interest, then the speed of studying or learning goes down.
If 'you' are at school, then the topic choice of course is ''dictated'' by the teachers and the system they represent.
Later on... I recommend Einstein's attitude: He had criticized his own educational system - he found it too repetitive, and with a lack to encourage imagination and creativity.
For now I see no best way for you. Other than picking up as much as you can. You may benefit from it later on - no matter how ''little'' this looks like today.

Unless you've grasped physics and chemistry you won't understand biology because everything in biology is explained using them. For any biological event ask yourself what's the physics or chemistry behind it.

mnemonics help. Flash cards are also useful for straight memorization.
