If it was a globe that is spinning... It would be very easy to travel to a different location on earth because all you would have to do is hoover in a helicopter just above ground level and the earth should turn away beneath you but this isn't the case.

Why would using a vacuum cleaner in a helicopter help? Would a Dyson be more efficient? For a short trip would you just use a dustbuster?

I don’t remember hearing about any egg shape theories.

Flat Earth theories are interesting, but they don’t always make sense.

I believe it’s round. All the evidence to believe so makes sense. I also don’t understand why flat-earthers don’t trust NASA, claiming things with no evidence like the moon landing supposedly being a stage play. Those rockets in the space race cost a lot of time and money, as well as people.

Gravity makes it a sphere. Spinning causes it to elongate at the equator.
