So... this sort of thing actually DOES happen often with many of the men I know... and sometimes *I* am the female coworker.

To put the wife's mind at ease I tend to meet her and her hubby for coffee so she sees that I'm 100% above board and don't have any sort of designs on her guy. This works 95% of the time (the 5% the wife's just irreparably paranoid and nasty to everyone under the sun). Some women presume that bc THEY think their guy is the cat's meow that all women will think the same thing of him (which is never the case).

Having said this, when my (now ex) hubby DID go on business trips I never suspected him... and I *should* have.

So... bottom line is that there are no absolute guarantees.

Depends on the coworker and their relationship. If she was pretty and seemed flirty I'd have a problem. But maybe she's a older mature woman.. maybe happily married. 🤷‍♀️

Also do you not trust the husband? If he's happy and you two get it on frequently there is no reason to think he will want to chest. He's probably much more focused on work. Just face time him nightly as he's going to bed.

If you're going to have both men and women in the workforce, it only makes sense that, sometimes, men and women coworkers are going to travel together. I did that several times during my career. It was always professional, not much different from when Two men traveled together.

If a spouse has difficulty with that, the real problem is in their marriage, not the spouse's workplace.

You need to trust him. Had that issue a lot when I was in the military. Sent on assignment with a female work colleague. I didn't do anything. Neither did she We were there for one thing and that's all.

You have to trust him. If you any supciscion of infedility or worried you should tell him, and if you still are set up things to see if he is. I never had this issue.
