Just to clarify it's a joke or slang for a woman in higher education primarily to find a boyfriend or husband rather than get an education

Back when I was in college, many years ago, that was fairly common. Several (not all) women were in college, paid for by their parents, taking easy courses that mostly led to useless degrees, to party and find a man. I'm not sure how common that is today.

I doubt that happens anymore. There are many otherwise meaningless degrees that allow women to make a lot of money and feel as though they don’t need a man.
Any degree from under the grievance studies umbrella would apply.
