I can't be a salesman. Not confident enough for it. I have worked with a severely autistic adult before, which actually probably doesn't mean much when it comes to dealing with autistic children... but I think I could at least do a better job at that than at being a cars salesman. And even if the job is stressful, it would probably also be more fulfilling than selling cars, because I'd get to feel like I was really making a difference in the lives of children who really need someone on their side and willing to work with them and give them patience.
I mean I already work at a relief institution for children with disabilities here including autism + my introverted ass would do terrible in sales, so I pick the group home.
The decision between these two paths depends on your personal interests and values. Selling cars can offer opportunities for financial growth, while working at a group home with autistic kids provides a chance to make a meaningful impact in individuals' lives. Reflect on what motivates you the most. If helping others and making a difference is your passion, the group home might be more fulfilling. If you're more driven by sales, entrepreneurship, and financial success, consider the car sales position. Your choice should feel aligned with your strengths and long-term goals.
