well violin generally, but that doesn't really make for a masterclass, so probably the Brahms concerto in D would be my best right now, or Tchaikovsky also in D, or any of the Bach concertos, which you really have to master before being able to move forward in any meaningful way in violin, so that would make a good topic. Also fast switching back and forth between pizzicato and arco i could do well (my father's nickname for me is pitts and pitsy), or arpeggios sprezzatura, all sorts. And the Paganini caprices, but everyone does those to death and they just end up being big showoff sessions

my biggest problem is i have zero interest in teaching, and also i'm not even working in classical music anymore, or playing much for that matter (though this month i am doing), so i really have to keep my fundamentals sharp every single day, and i have my mother making sure of that. soon i should be able to teach a masterclass on controlling fiery pop stars with more talent than common sense; or the correct distance, in miles, a record company executive should be kept away from talent at all times
