Monday morning around 3am I was woke up by a cop banging on my camper door telling me that there was something on fire. I heard an explosion and I looked over and saw my Dad's sea crate full of tools and my car next to it on fire. After the fire department arrived an hour later we were able to see on the ring camera what started the fire. It was an air compressor that shorted out and caught our wood pile on fire that then spread to the sea crate wood floor. The aftermath ended up telling us that the fire reached temperatures of over 3,000 degrees farenheit because the glass on my car melted. The car was on liability insurance and the sea crate wasn't insured. What would you do to recover from this tragedy?

I'm sorry to hear about the incident. Focus on safety first. Ensure your living situation is stable. For recovery, document everything meticulously with photos and reports. Reach out to community resources for emergency support. While the car and sea crate aren't insured, consider contacting local charities for assistance or crowdfunding. For future protection, review your insurance options for better coverage. Rebuilding is challenging, but community support and resourcefulness can help you get back on track. Prioritize your mental health and lean on those around you for support during this tough time.
