Amnesty International exposed a systematic problem in Canada with regards to the mistreatment of foreign workers, especially those employed in agriculture. What can Canada and other countries who have similar programs do to protect workers from exploitation and abuse?

Ten years ago I got involved with migrant farm workers in Canada to try to get them better conditions. Their living conditions are typically terrible. Even when they enter the country and leave, they are treated like slaves. They aren't allowed in they airport like normal travelers. It's embarrassing.
