Has anyone successfully gotten rehired to a job you were fired from?

The people doing the interviews are completely new, but I think my old supervisor who fired me, is still there, as well as some other people. And the supervisor has to sign off on it. It has been over 2 years, but I know some other people from there who also got fired, and as far as I know, they never came back. I know one of my old co-workers reapplied and went for the interview and got rejected.

They cancelled my interview, 'cuz HR told them I'm "inelligable to be re-hired". Fucking assholes!

Yes. My older sister. He said no to her boss who asked her to make him coffee. She said it’s not her job. He fired her. She cried and left. He called her back 3 days later. That was early on maybe like 2-3 years into the job.

She has been there since … and is like 30 years at this point working for him. he will never fire her at this point.

A lot of jobs are being replaced.
Tech, finances. Etc.
some healthcare are still good.!

Yepp. Last year.
Boss got tired of my continuous efforts to add to his ideas instead of simply "yessing" his sometimes absurd visions.
Three months later he asked me to drag one of his ideas out of the shit and to add to his idea.
Interestingly, he had additional ideas, and right now I am sent to the same project -again- to drag it out of more shit - again.
His shit gets me around.

No, but they tried to though (I technically "resigned", but I didn't have a choice). By the time they tried, which was just inside of a year later, I'd already moved on and was also too busy getting ready to interview for a big promotion.

I would never go back to a job that fired me unless I had no choice. Fortunately, that's never been an issue.
