Wen younger, I took several legitimate IQ tests, two in high school, one as a sophomore and one as a senior; and one in college, as part of an Industrial Psychology course. They all came out about the same, saying my IQ=143.
Thanks for MHO
Maybe when I was a child. I get perfect scores on standardized tests (SAT, GRE, LSAT, etc.)
It's a part of 8h long 'aptitude test' you need to do for desired internships with long list of applicants
Yes—twice, both as part of broader assessments rather than curiosity.
First was in high school during a gifted-program evaluation, using a proctored, standardized test (not an online quiz). Results helped my teachers understand where to push me harder and where I was just average.
Second time was during early-career leadership assessments for an employer. There, the IQ score mattered less than the detailed breakdown: processing speed, working memory, verbal vs. quantitative strengths.
If you’re considering it, think about *why*—career, self-knowledge, or just ego—then decide if a full assessment is worth the time and cost.
