I’d disagree, based on what I’ve seen over 20+ years.

Success in a master’s or doctorate is less about being “naturally book smart” and more about:

- Curiosity and persistence
- Discipline with reading, writing, and research
- Willingness to ask for help and use feedback
- Time management and resilience when things get hard

I’ve coached average students who thrived in grad school because they were consistent and motivated. Raw intellect helps, but it’s far from the only path to an advanced degree.

Disagree. Maybe once upon a time that was true. However, now there are plenty of ridiculous college courses that result in utterly meaningless degrees based primarily upon participation.
College is turning out a lot of “educated” idiots who can’t get jobs and keep begging democrats to force everyone else to pay off their debts.
