My company’s profits are down. Everyone has been asked to type out all their work duties as if we were going to train someone. Layoffs haven’t been mentioned. I got a raise and an excellent performance review. In my department there are two people with less experience than me.

I understand both sides.. might get a lot of hate for asking lol😂👀

So, I'm looking at revamping my schedule or potentially working with someone else. Which schedule would you take?

So, I work with this adult age woman who is non verbal and in a vegetative state. Her condition is getting worse but per all medical professionals it's due to her mother not following through with needed treatment. Anyways, because of this I have been going to over several appointments with the patient. Per doctor's she needs surgery but mom doesn't want that. It's becoming a bit draining. But it's steady consistent income. Also, I'm couped up in the patients house all day 4 days a week 7a-7pm steady income. I'm wondering if I should just cut down on hours or leave. The option is a client that is monday-friday 7a-3pm (I would go to school and on field trips) i am familiar with them. Thoughts?

The reason why I agreed on going in the first place because my father is mentally draining, not only does he use physical force as discipline, but he is emotionally unavailable, and he just has it out for me. He drains my energy, and we don't get along. I'm usually in my room all day until he leaves for work.

I decided to come here to get away from everything else in my life. I already struggle from bullying at school, and I hate having to come home and deal with my father who is no different from my bullies at school.

I don't mind being where I am right now, it's a third world country but I don't care. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I may have to stay here for two years to get my high school diploma.

I am very behind in math's and science; I can't even do basic mental math. I know I'll be incredibly embarrassed because everyone here is at a very high academic level.

• My parents got me a tutor here and they told me today that I will be held back and will have to study to catch up. They told me I have a week left to decide if I want to continue to stay. And honestly, I don't think I have a choice, if I go back to my "real" home I think I will actually k*ll myself.

Currently, I’m not making enough at my job because my boss “can’t afford” to give me 30+ hours a week, and with the pay I have I’m spending more than I make on just rent and food. I have some options but I’m struggling on what to do. I don’t want to quit this job because I really, really like it but it’s looking like it’s not sustainable right now

I do lolz. It's the 4th and the bar will be packed. I'd love to be out with friends but the money is too good to pass up on a busy holiday. Anyone else work holidays?
