Ace Ventura, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994)
An obvious one indeed. Ace Venture gets born out of rhinos, dances in tutus and eats guano all for the sake of trying to find out the truth. That's commitment.
Captain Quint, Jaws (1975)
Haha I don't know. Maybe I'm alone in this, but when I hear him speak...I just find it incredibly funny. Captain Quint has quite the flair for dramatics.
Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Indiana is just plain funny. He manages to turn evererything into a joke. “It’s not the years, honey. It’s the mileage.”
Dr. Evil, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)
Just "...one million dollars". He's one of those characters you can't help but love. Why? because he's quirky and unknowingly hilarious. Who doesn't like that?
James Bond, Dr. No (1962)
You know...we all know the Bond movies, and the one thing everyone of us knows is that they aren't devoid of a sense of humor. It may not be as on the nose as most of these other characters, but there's something to be said for that slow roasting burn that only Bond, James Bond can achieve.
Kevin McCallister, Home Alone (1990)
Just a kid, true, but the little guy really stood up for himself and deserves some recognition.
