Nirvana also has some of the most popular songs of the 1990s especially these five.
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Come As You Are
Heart Shaped Box
Lithium
In Bloom
About A Girl
He's one of the most famous people ever and its because of his voice and those songs and albums. He's also known and famous for the beautiful music videos he's made. He made the beautiful music video for Heart Shaped Box and In Bloom some of the best music videos ever! (:
Yes! He definitely deserves this, both as a music genius and as a person who -while truly soulful, creative, and brilliant - didn't let fame change him, and didn't give a fuck about what the world thought of him and his work. Very much missed and will forever been cherished.
It was 1997 and I was taking drawing in art class. A guy brought it in on a tape. We listened to an entire Nirvana acoustic tape. Then on another day we listened to some of the electric stuff.
I remember enough about the song that I was able to look it up on youtube. The reason why I commented is because of the memories I have of the 90s music. Back then I was more into bands like common children. And they were not main stream.
No fucking way. He was good, and he had a good voice but he is far from a legend (when talking about music). Most of his lyrics were a pile of random bullshit without any actual point. Also there was still a lot of good music in the 90s so there is no way he is the best
