There are many movies that make you wonder, “what was the director thinking?” Well, here are some of them.

1.) The incredible two headed transplant(1971)

A movie about a two headed serial killer that was created with a secret experiment.

2.)The thing with 2 heads(1972)

Very similar to the other movie but instead, the two headed person is the protagonist.

3.) The Black gestapo(1975)

A movie that falls under the “blaxsploitation” genre. The movie shows a fictionalized version of the black Panthers who adopt a Nazi structure. Instead of chanting “sieg heil!” they chant “Vengeance!”

4.) Meat love(1989)

A short movie where two pieces of meat fall in love. It’s only a minute long.

5.) Rubber(2011)

A movie about a tire that goes around killing people.

6.) Pro wrestlers vs zombies(2014)

A movie where professional wrestlers fight against zombies.

7.) Lavalantula(2015) and 2lava2lantula(2016)

Movies about giant lava infused tarantulas.

8.) Sharktopus vs Whalewolf(2015)

I think the title speaks for itself.

9.) Sharknado franchise(2013-2017)

Movies about tornados made out of sharks. There are 5 sharknado films so far.

At least the directors were thinking outside the box and came up with original ideas.

Pretty out there films.
But sharknado made a name for itself , celebrities in them and not to mention it is funny yet still cheesy to draw in the masses.
There's a movie from the 70's called Killdozer, about a bulldozer that comes to life killing everyone. It's on YouTube, pretty out there B movie.
Of course there's Maximum Overdrive from the late 80's

Never heard of the others (except sharknado) but Rubber was actually a great movie!(with a good message, if you keep paying to watch bad movies they will keep making them (rather ironic considering that it could also qualify as a bad movie).

Also weird is FDR: American Bad ass (according to it FDR got polio by getting bit by a werewolf among other things), Pool boy 2, and Manborg are also bizarre.

Every one is trying to make the best bad movie ever, no one succeed till Tommy Wiseau came a long. Now everybody is making bad movies till they get their own best bad movie ever.

I think some of them are made intentionally for fun and laughs, especially the Sharknado franchise.

Yeah, I saw about 10 minutes of the first Sharknado. That was all I could handle. Like if a shark did get swept up in a waterspout it's primary concern would be biting people...
