My wife and I really don't watch TV anymore. She more than me and, when I do "watch", it is either sports or in the background like Sunday morning political pundit shows ("Meet the Press", "Face the Nation", e. g.).

HOWEVER, we did watch together both "A Quiet Place" movies and she was very into them.

It's based on a popular book series, and they've done 2 TV seasons, each one based on one book.

There were previously 2 Tom Cruise movies based on the same books (Jack Reacher), and while those were good movies, certain things had to be altered to make Tom Cruise work. In the books, Jack Reacher is a HUGE 6'5" hulk of a guy, and that's definitely not Tom Cruise. The actor on the TV series IS huge, and the character is a whole lot more true to the character in the books.
